Tipsy Putt — Restaurant in Monterey

I had an awesome time at Tipsy Putt with my wife and mother-in-law as we dined on excellent food. I recommend the quesadillas as they were huge slices and had fillings separate for you just in case you’re a picky eater. The quesadillas were crispy as the filling of cheese and chicken filled your mouth with joy and comfort.

After we ate, the manager walked over and asked us if we wanted to golf and we said “yeah”, but Tipsy putt has a golf meets pool type of game where you putt at 7 holes with 2 par per hole. By the first hole we were locked in and having fun sinking some birdies in one hole and hitting the 2 par the next!

The atmosphere of the place had energy as the staff were nice and always provided great customer service as we ordered and waited for our food. The food didn’t take long to come to our table after we ordered. Wonderful staff.

For some of you who are older and possibly on a date, there is cozy basement level to play mini golf and a giant game of connect 4 if you are so inclined.

Did I mention they have you covered with bar upstairs and at the basement level? Cause they do and they got you covered!

Kyle at Tipsy Putt is the Best!

If you're heading to Tipsy Putt and don't know Kyle yet, you're seriously missing out. He’s not just a bartender—he’s the kind of person who instantly makes you feel welcome, like you’ve been friends for years even if it’s your first time at the bar.

Kyle has a way of remembering your name, your drink, and even that random story you told him last week. He’s super approachable, always smiling, and genuinely seems to enjoy what he does—which makes all the difference. Whether you’re coming in after a long day or out celebrating with friends, Kyle makes sure everyone’s having a good time.

His drinks are spot on every time (he’s got skills!), but it’s really his energy that makes him stand out. He’s the guy who’ll crack a joke when you need a laugh, listen when you need to vent, and somehow still keep the whole bar running like a well-oiled machine.

Came to the member grand opening of the Monterey location for Tipsy Putt. We played a round of mini golf and a round of the 1-2 putt and had a blast at both. Definitely something we will continue to come back and do. The 1-2 putt was a lot off fun and brings a different twist to regular mini golf. We had two of their cocktails on tap and while one was the wrong one, I count that as opening day glitches. After we played a round of golf and 1-2 putt we grabbed a bite to eat. The nachos were really tasy but the pretzels were a bit of a let down for the price point compared to the nachos, but we'll definitely try a few more things out before we completely rule the food out. The price point is what you would expect for this kind of experience and location.

Overall we'll definitely be adding this into our rotation of things to do on date night. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the vibe is nice and laid back but...
