If I could give this horrible place zero stars, I promise you, I WOULD! Never have I been to an establishment and been treated the way I was treated yesterday. I took my children here after spending a lot of money at the stores in the mall and thought it would be a bright idea to stop here and eat, BIG MISTAKE. The cashier was rude and very standoffish. As if it were such an inconvenience to him and the cooks that I was spending my money there and made them do their damn job. They called my number when it was time for me to grab my food, I had a bunch of children with me and put the receipt away so fast so that I could be attentive to my children. I kindly asked what was in bag so that I could confirm the order and let me just tell you, the looks they had on their faces were as if they were disgusted by my presence! I asked them multiple times what the order was and they ignored me every single time. I grabbed the food, sat my children down with my sister in law, went back and gave them a piece of my mind and told them to give me a refund. Returned the food as well! I get that most of their ratings are coming from people that order through Doordash, Uber, etc and that’s the only thing that’s saving their rating because they don’t have to DEAL with the disgusting employees there, but please go at your own risk if you’ll be ordering in person. Read moreFirstly I would like to start with i and currently under going chemo and fighting cancer at the moment, I don’t eat much nor have and appetite much, so when I did and said man I would really love a cali steak from Charley’s it hurts me that this was my experience. My girlfriend went to the moorestown location for me because I am bed ridden. Upon her arrival when she greeted the staff behind the cash register (and older Hispanic woman) she said she was greeted with immediate I don’t want to deal with people attitude from her while ordering she was asked to repeat the order several times before she even really got out what it is she was trying to order because they woman rudely interrupted her more then twice after she was actually able to convey thee order upon payment she rolled her eyes while waiting for her to collect the appropriate amount and loudly scoffed.( had this not been my request she would have immediately left) lastly to receive a cali steak with and almost doughy raw roll (asked for it to be toasted and I’m sure they toast all rolls) without my pickles asked for or thee other things included like extra ranch cheese etc. I’m appalled not only at the services that were provided but the quality of food that was given I have not had a bad experience with a Charley’s before until now and I can guarantee I will not return to this location. That customer could have been me and i wanted it to be but I step up to the place, and I’m the only one there! The only one! So I’m about 3 ft to the left of the register and I see a prep cook who’s not busy and facing me. I say to him Het buddy how u doin? Just being nice. He looks at me and points to the register and says u order over there. I say I know, and all he did was stare blankly saying nothing else. I walk on and the poor nice girl at the counter said can I help u and I said no I’m good. What should have happened is because I was the only one there the guy should have first kindly answered my question and then become inspiring talking about the food he makes and asking if I want something at which point I would have said yes and told him what it was and then I would have went to the counter and paid.
