Don Bigotes came as a surprise to me. When it was Sugar Run Grill it was cramped with tables on top of eachother and it was so cramped in there that we didn't want to go back after the first time. Don Bigote took out the place the band played and spread out tables. It feels more open and inviting.

The food is pretty decent though the carne asada and shrimp was quite salty. The Al Pastor was fantastic and the barbacoa just didn't have much flavor but it was cooked well. The tacos were good sized and pretty authentic. We also tried the Mexican Corn (Elote) and it was great! Some places grill their corn first and Don Bigote does not do this but it's dressed well and tastes really good.

When we were there for Mothers Day we got two of the 12 ounce margaritas and we were not a fan of them at all. They were cloudy and didn't taste good. I'm not sure if they were flavored with something but I only drank half mine and my wife took maybe 2 sips of hers. We also didn't taste much alcohol at all in the margaritas.

The queso is decent, even if a little runny. A bit soup like. But it tastes good, just be prepared to drip EVERYWHERE!

I hope they can figure out the few kinks, (the salty meat, the cloudy/subpar margs) and it'll be a decent top three on our list of favorite Mexican places...

I wanted to cry how poor was the service. No communication or even greeting from our male server. I Ordered skinny Margarita, server didn’t ask what size margarita I was or if I want top shelve or regular, nothing. My husband and grandma ordered Tacos , they did not had flavor, there was poor lettuce and teaspoon off ground beef with a bit of cheese. No seasoning, just plain ground meat. Besides that husband ordered two chicken and two beef tacos. He got 3 chicken and one beef. Me and grandpa ordered each 6pcs Wings, mine came out first and grandpas came out 5mins later, server forgot about his probably. Grandpas wings were cold and pink inside.

Server never came to us or show any interest to ask if food and drinks are okay. We never said anything, because we were over this place and wanted to get out as soon as possible. And of course, we were waiting for our check for a while. Thank you,...

My husband and I are from texas and know great mexican food. We have very high standards. Their chips are a little bit too thick, but they are fresh, and their salsa is excellent. My husband got the prime rib steak with sauteed vegetables, rice, and beans. His Prime rib was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and tasted delicious. I got the barbacoa plate. It comes with four tacos, some sauce and beans, and it tasted pretty fantastic to me. Got to sit down right away, They were quick to bring out chips , Salsa and our drinks. We did not have a long wait for our food. It was a very pleasant experience there.

My wife and I biked the Little Miami Scenic Trail from Waynesville to Morrow this afternoon. We stopped and enjoyed lunch at Don Bigote's. We're so glad to see the location with a new restaurant - and one we fully enjoyed! I had the Speedy Gonzales - very tasty (washed down with Modelo - can't go wrong there). The service was quick, staff friendly, and food served hot and tasty - a great stop while on our bike trip. We look forward to our next biking stop in Morrow!
