Honestly, I would not recommend going to this location. My family used to get food from here now and then but would always be hounded about giving a tip or if we meant to not tip (we planned on giving cash). Today, they crossed the line. We ordered some pizza to be delivered, and when the driver showed up, they brought up about a tip again, and I mentioned how I added it on the app. He then tells me that it's not so and that it was probably their system. Then he goes on to keep asking about getting a tip. When I stated that I'm not going to tip again, he got mad and gave me the food, saying that he just gets nothing. If their system did mess up and not give the tip I put it was still very uncomfortable and unprofessional to keep insisting I give him a tip. I called in to their store to try and explain how I didn't appreciate how rude and unprofessional the driver was, especially because I had guests over along with my our young kids. Originally, the lady who answered the phone was polite and had me talk to the GM. The GM on the other hand was being passive aggressive with trying to say how I got on the phone yelling at everyone and how I was wrong. I admit I did swear once but that was because as the GM said the driver was at the shop while I was on the phone and I can here him getting rude and then in a moment of silence I heard what sounded like him say "Tell them about us being right by a gun shop.". At that moment I got angry and swore because to me that's very unacceptable and personal take that as a threat in a way. When I called them out on it I was told that nobody said anything about guns. I continued to press on it and then the story changed that it was someone talking to 3 people who work at the gun store. Once the call ended a little later the GM called my wife and basically was a different person trying to apologize so they know they were in the wrong. I believe the calls are recorded so I will definitely be...
Read moreI got really excited when I spotted what appeared to be the last actual Pizza Hut on the planet. I told my 11-year-old son that’s where we’re eating tonight! When dinner time came we arrived at the restaurant and I walked in like it was 1994 and we were gonna have breadsticks, personal pan pizzas, and drink mountain dew all night possibly with a trip to the salad bar! Quite a different experience greeted us inside. The woman behind the counter looked at us very confused and asked if we were picking up an order. I said, “no, we wanted to have dinner.” Again I got a strange fairly annoyed look and she said, “there’s a menu on the old salad bar,” haphazardly motioning toward it, “let me know what you want.” That’s when I realized even though this was a true hut, the last one I have seen still in use in years, it wasn’t a restaurant anymore, just a carryout and delivery location. And thus my heart was broken. We left and ate somewhere else that night. Deep down I knew it was too good to be true when we first passed it driving to Hershey Park, but the optimistic part of me thought maybe, just maybe I could give my 11-year-old a true Pizza Hut experience. In the back of my mind, I fantasized maybe we could hit up a blockbuster...
Read moreI ordered on their website, pizza, pasta and bread sticks. They sent the order via Doordash, okay whatever. The ordered arrived without the bread sticks for the pasta. I called and was told they realized the driver left the bread sticks. No calls made either way to recover the food. The "So Called" manager said she would have the bread sticks sent out in about 10-15 mins with their driver. Over an hour later I called back in, got some lip from the manager about waiting for a driver. I said what happened to 10 mins and I will send it out? I admit I lost it right there. Don't mess with a Hangry Lady. They hung up on me a few times. I drove there very angry and hungry. I said I wanted a new order of pasta and bread sticks made. Got some push back but I don't back down. The new food was hot and fresh (appreciated) You may think its just pizza hut or its just bread sticks. When I work hard for my money and I'm "Hangry" my order better be right. This is the 3rd bad experience and it will be my last. If you want to call me a Karen that's cool. I'm one hangry a** Karen. Never again Etown Pizza Hut, never again. EAT...
