Station Grill — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

The only way I can describe The Station Grill in Murfreesboro Tennessee is fun casual friendly with great food. The station grill is tucked away in a strip mall area off of Northfield in Murfreesboro. When we walked in we were quickly seated. I remarked to our waitress , Grace ,wow I think we've been looking for this place for a long time. The food was no disappointment. I had the burger like always ,my wife had fish and chips they were probably the best catfish I had ever tasted ,when I snuck one from her plate. The trivia game was just about to start and obviously a lot of customers come in to play trivia. We also noted a lot of families were coming in ,so we know it's a child-friendly and fun environment. The service was fantastic ,all the staff were friendly and like I said the food was no disappointment at all. The restaurant is very casual and that's exactly what we had been looking to find, something casual and have a great meal at a good price. We will definitely be frequenting The station grill...

I always enjoy returning to a property that I have reviewed. We went back to the station grill a few nights ago. This time Kerbi (?) Was our waitress. Nice looking place. Came for onion rings. Reviews said they were near perfect. First batch came out cold and hard. Batch was brought back hot and hard, likely dunked in the fat for a few seconds. I'd love to trade mediocre but that's too nice a word. I'm sure it's a good place but I came specifically for onion rings. I can't think of anyone who would be happy with what was served, twice. Update after establishment reply: I was offered comp for the onion rings. I wasn't looking for comp for food that shouldn't have been delivered, twice. I was on the search for onion rings. If you think comping for unacceptable food is good business practice - well ok, it's your business. I'm pretty sure you're in business to make money. And by paying my way I'm under no obligation to amend my review of my experience to make it seem better than it was. My point of my review is somewhere along the line of your quality control process unacceptable food was served TWICE, second time addressing temperature issues while degrading overall appearance, texture and taste of said order. Rather than comp unacceptable food it is respectfully suggested implementing a "dang I wouldn't eat that" assessment policy so servers have the ability to be proud of the food they transport between kitchen and...

Stopped in at the newly opened (7/30) Station Grill to give them a try and support the new spot in Murfreesboro. Heather set me up with a beer while I reviewed the menu. There were plenty of bar food options, I was hoping for some of the items I saw on their FB page at the old location. I went with the Buffalo Chicken Dip and the Cannon Burger and onion rings. The chicken dip is good and not too spicy, the chips were probably from a bag and were just OK. The burger was cooked as requested and had some nice char to it and the bun was toasted. There are a few spots in Murfreesboro in the $10 burger club, so while the burger I had was good it didn’t rank up there with other spots in town. The frozen onion rings were a huge disappointment, lacked flavor, and were greasy. Service in the place is good and everyone was friendly and the bar is non-smoking…so family friendly. I may visit again in a couple months to see how the menu progresses above standard bar fare. Would love to see some of the dishes from their old location on the menu…those...
