E-Z Eats Cafe — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

As a local I eat here quite frequently. I'm sad to see some of the older reviews stating racism as the owner and main person who runs it is a minority himself but that aside .The food is always fantastic, love the staff there too they are fun and have great personality, it has a cute little dining area inside with air-conditioning which is really nice on those really hot days. The inside is plastered with these funny signs that give entertainment as you eat. It's among the cheapest places I've found on the boulevard to eat at but it's also the absolute best tasting in my opinion. I live for the French fries and while sometimes it can take a bit to get the food I know it's cuz it's always cooked fresh to order and it's well worth any waiting.ownership recently changed and for a lot of places here that can spell disaster but the new owner has worked himself half to death for almost a decade at this restaurant and there are days I've seen him do it all by himself. Spent a weekend at Myrtle Beach for Ladder Fest 2023, aka #WSM2023. My partner and I liked the locale and prices of E-Z Eats Cafe since we didn't want to drive anywhere to eat or spend a lot of $. Their cotton candy was probably the softest, and most flavorful I have had in decades. We ate 3 meals there and each one was hot and delicious. They were very busy so the wait time was 10-15 mins at most but we were very happy with the food and service. We dined in and carried out food. They are attached to a very noisy and busy boardwalk arcade - my only complaint. I would definitely eat there again if we go back. I loved the hot dogs and my other half enjoyed the hamburgers. Every time I visit the beach, I always stop at this stand to get funnel cake and cotton candy. I never had a problem with them before. But tonight was a different story. I ordered my usual items and paid for them. The lady in the back was making fresh cotton candy, so I asked the cashier if I could get one of the fresher ones instead of the ones that were hanging up. The lady in the back got an attitude because I didn't want the one that she pulled out. So she snatched the cotton candy off the counter and threw it in the trash. At that point, I canceled my whole order. I have never dealt with bad customer service like that before in my life. I will spend my money somewhere else where I am appreciated...
