I'm currently visiting North Fort Myers, Florida from Illinois but I heard about the chocolate piñata at Uncle Julio's and thought it would be perfect for my birthday! Keep in mind we were just supposed to be going for the dessert. It didnt take long to be seated and while we were walking by all the plates and smelling and seeing everything, there was nooooo way we couldn't order food; this being our first time being here. I unfortunately can't remember the name of our server but he was very attentive and any time we had questions, he went out of his way to get answers for us. We started with the table side guac and it was absolutely delicious!! It had a creamier texture then what we're typically used to so we asked our waiter what was in the bottle that she mixed into the guacamole at the end and he went back and asked and told us it was avocado oil (noted!). Then we ordered steak fajitas and the enchilada combination dinner, so so good! The steak was super tender and seasoned perfectly and the enchiladas, omg! Dinner was absolutely delicious to say the least! While we were eating dinner the hospitality manager came by (can't remember his name but such a nice man!) and I told him we came to celebrate my birthday with the chocolate piñata but ended up staying for dinner also talked about the schaumburg location and advised him I'd never been to that one either even though its close to home and after conversation he told me the chocolate piñata was on the house for my birthday!!! He didn't have to do anything at all for us because the service and food was so delicious but him covering the cost of my chocolate piñata was literally the icing on the cake!! Not to mention it was soo good! They told us afterwards that the chocolate was made in house and the strawberries, pineapple and mini churros (also made in house!) were just a bonus!! Plus the white and milk chocolate sauce 🤦♀️ literally amazing! Such a great first...
Read moreMy first time tasting Uncle Julio’s was when my daughter brought leftovers home from Orlando to Lehigh Acres just after everything reopened after the Covid pandemic. The leftovers were so delicious, I just knew I needed to visit and eat a fresh dinner. Covid caused such a delay in the opening of the Naples location and my anticipation was high. Finally when they opened in the fall of 2022, I have gathered all of my loved ones together and visit the Naples Uncle Julio’s as often as I can.
My daughter got married in October 2023 at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park. It was a beautiful small intimate family ceremony and she chose to have a reception afterwards at Uncle Julio’s. We couldn’t have had a better experience, making it the perfect ending to a perfect moment. She had our traditional chocolate piñata, something we enjoy at all of our family gatherings there, and let all of the kids have a whack at it. It was just one more special moment to add to our family memories of great times!
Yesterday, I was released from NCH North Naples and had to have dinner at my favorite Uncle Julio’s. When the manager, Maddox, stopped by the table to see how our dinner was, I let him know it couldn’t be any better because I just got out of the hospital and all I wanted was dinner at my favorite restaurant. Well, I was wrong, because it got better. Maddox gifted me with a chocolate piñata and blew my day all the way up! Thank you to the Manager, Maddox and Waiter, Gaston for making my breaking free from the hospital dinner such a happy ending to a difficult experience for me. It helped turn my frown all the way upside down. Naples Uncle...
Read moreMy first dining experience at this restaurant..we sat at a high top in the bar area..party of 6 people. We were immediately greeted by Alejandra our server who was cheerful and engaging and very prompt with water and drink orders.
The guacamole which was made table side and customized to our liking (spicy, etc).. was Outstanding! Only 1 heaping spoon of fresh jalapeno in our guac and the spice level was perfect. We had an 11 and 14 year old in our party and they gobbled it up.
I ordered the beef and chicken fajitas..both cooked to perfection..tender and flavorful. I made 3 fajitas with my order and still had enough meat to make at least 2 more tacos! My husband ordered the barbacoa fajitas..came with lots of veggies and he cleaned his plate! Both came with a generous amount of housemade flour tortillas served warm.
The restaurant atmostohere had a great vibe...very busy but servers were constantly about refilling waters and following up with additonal requests.
Being a fairly new restaurant in Naples, one would expect that they would still need to iron out some kinks in their process but this was not the case. The restaurant was very well staffed. Our server knew the menu very well and made excellent recommendations.
Overall, I would say that the food and the service were exceptional during our dining experience.. We can't...
