Renee's Family Breakfast — Restaurant in Nappanee

This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. First coming in we weren’t getting seated so my wife asked if we seated ourselves and the waitress responded with “ yes don’t you see the sign?” We then sat down and it took 20 minutes until we got asked for drinks and food and another hour later we got our food… we came here for breakfast and ended up eating our breakfast for lunch time… not only was that terrible but the food was disgusting sooo bad I’d much rather eat a cold sandwich from a gas station Not one person from our table eat more than a few bites from our plates… ketchup and sauce bottles were empty I asked for orange juice multiple times I received nothing. Overall it’s the crappiest place to eat at save your TIME AND MONEY and go elsewhere it’s so disappointing if I was the owner I’d be ashamed to be in business I can’t express this enough this place needs to be closed cause I’m sure my dog wouldn’t even...

Dawn ordered the French Toast w/blueberries and side sausage patty. I ordered the Spanish omelet/hashbrowns. Food tastes great with exception to hashbrowns. The French Toast was grilled perfectly while the fresh blueberries brought out the taste even better. The sausage patty tasted and felt like fresh sausage meat. The omelet was mixed perfectly with great portions of ingredients. Then there was the hashbrowns, tasted and textured like they were frozen previously. Plus our waitress didn't come by to check on us, even after asking for a second glass of tea, which was served in a to go cup because she forgot. Overall Dawn and I both were well filled and enjoyed the taste, atmosphere along with the hospitality (even with the few exceptions). We do recommend this place and will return. Food is good but don’t expect staff to wear masks properly when interacting with customers.

I want to support local businesses especially those in the hospitality sphere but In today’s world with over 4 million infected and 140k dead due to Covid and infection rates spiking, especially here in Elkhart. We all must do our part to limit the spread.

Server Staff wearing masks on their chin, or pulling them down, off their face to talk to customers is at this point unforgivable. Especially when those customers came in wearing masks. tables are not being closed so patrons can sit next to other groups is utter insanity.

The food was ok. And was filling but the entire experience made me very uncomfortable and will not be returning any time soon.

I hope the owners of this establishment read this and address...
