I'm not really sure where to start. I have never been to Rachel's Kitchen but I will never return. We arrived as the first customers of the day with a group of 5 people. We work in the Town Square complex and eat lunch daily so we thought, hey let's try this place. The person at the counter took our order and gave us a number. Roughly 45 minutes later 3 other groups had come in and sit down and food finally started coming out of the kitchen. The first two salads that were brought to our table were not for us! They were for a table that had come in after us. Finally after another 10 minutes and us asking where our food was the order came. (Mind you we told the person when we ordered we had 30 minutes)The salads we had ordered came out as sandwiches and the sandwiches ordered came out as salads. The french fries that came with the wrap were on a cold plate, in a cold bowl, and were frozen to the touch. It felt like they made the plate, and then put it in the cooler for the 30 extra minutes waiting for the rest of the order. When we mentioned how long the wait was and that the order was wrong, the employee froze and did not know how to handle it. Of the 5-7 employees we saw everyone was confused, and had no idea why the order could have been incorrect. There was no leadership and multiple employees kept coming to the table more confused then the next. We also were not sure how it could take 45 minutes to get 5 soups and salads/sandwiches when the parties after us were all eating and done before we got ours. It's a shame to say but with the many other options available in Town Square Rachel's Kitchen has left our list...

We walked to the counter and placed our order. Then asked an employee if a table could be cleaned up for us since it had the padded sits (option of sitting is metal chair or padded sits). I had a back surgery, so obviously I need padded sits. He ignored us and moved to another customer. Needless to say, We arranged our own sitting.
We also Placed our order with specific food allergy restrictions. Same person that took our order brought it to the table. When asked about the wrong dressing on the salad, he replied, "I placed the order. I'm not a cook, so I don't know why your order is wrong." We simply asked that the other be done the way we asked.
Further more, since one order was wrong, I decided to asked about the specific allergy restrictions. Again, same person that took our order, once again said, "I don't know if your order is correct, I am not a cook."
At that point I was annoyed 😒. My response was that we didn't want to be sick from eating food we are allergic too. They...
Read moreHonestly, wasn't really impressed. I noticed the effort, however, it didn't pay off. First, the acoustics are terrible. Way too much going on in that space and it all echoes off the walls. The floor is polished concrete and the chairs are metal. Everytime someone got up or sat down this horrible screeching echoes through the room. Add to that the music playing, conversation, and kids screaming made it feel more like Grand Central Station rather than a restaurant. The food server mixed up the food order and presented my food to my partner and vice versa. I had the breakfast wrap and it was dry and insipid. It was served with breakfast potatoes and the same can be said about those. I believe if more effort would be placed in decor, to reduce the amount of noise bouncing off the walls as well as food presentation and preparation this establishment would be an ideal place to eat. Just...
