We went here early when they first opened, the morning of my Birthday. It was nothing short of magical. The views from outside were great, service was amazing. Was an easy walk from across the bridge in a great location. I had blueberry and basil grilled cheese because when do you see that on a menu? I was told no one has ever sent it back, lol. It was heaven in my mouth. Absolutely amazing. I want one now! Also, Im not a big fan of oysters, but the way they prepared and presented ours was out of this world. We asked for a second round, they were that good! Four stars only because the outdoor tables were flimsy and became a big problem with 2 younger kids. I feel like this place should upgrade the furniture to match the view! Definitely something a bit less tipsy. Overall, great experience. Highly recommend.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, menu is very basic and overpriced. I ordered the vegetable burger, and it is by far, the most disappointing vegetarian burger I have ever had. It was very bland and lacked flavor. I had to drench the sandwich with ketchup just to reach a desirable taste. The taste does not match the price. The only thing that I would recommend from this entire menu is the Cobb salad, but even that is overpriced at $24. I went with a group of about 9 people, and had the opportunity to see just about everything on the entrée menu, including the tilapia tacos, fish and chips, and the Brie and ham sandwich, and NONE of it looked appetizing! I will not be coming back again, EVER. IF YOU ARE READING THIS RIGHT NOW, please do yourselves a favor and SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

We love this place! Brought our out of town friend from CA for a late lunch. The flowers in the front of the restaurant were so pretty. The hostess Paulette was very friendly. It was a 40-minute wait due to being understaffed, but we all had tasty drinks at the bar. The sangria was delicious! We were seated at a table close to the water and enjoyed the view. The turkey bacon sandwich was so good. Our friend and her daughter LOVED the fish and chips and the chicken parm was good too! They were happy I suggested The Landing as they really enjoyed eating here. Of course, we'll be back.

"A Stunning Ambience Ruined by Abysmal Cuisine – Time to Overhaul the Kitchen!"

It's a travesty when a restaurant seems purposefully "designed to fail," and that’s exactly the state of affairs at The Landings Restaurant. Nestled in New Hope, a gem of American history and beauty, this establishment should epitomize the integrity, independence, and charm that define this illustrious borough. Instead, it squanders its potential and insults its patrons.

What could have been a sparkling jewel in New Hope’s crown has become an egregious example of profit-driven neglect. Rather than embracing the town's quaint allure and serving its community with pride, The Landings opts to dish out fare akin to carnival food. It's a slap in the face to locals and visitors alike.

It’s common knowledge that the proprietor of this establishment also owns several high-end restaurants. Yet, here, there’s no evidence of the care, attention, or passion that should define a culinary venture. The core of a great restaurant is its food, and on this front, The Landings fails spectacularly. No amount of new umbrellas or cafe lights can disguise the fact that better meals are found at The Ferry Market, where The Pork Shack serves outstanding food at incredible prices.

Let’s break it down:

The River View: Truly spectacular. The Service: Anthony, our waiter, was unbelievably outstanding, Management: Elliot, the manager, kindly removed the atrocious spaghetti literally in a bowl of water with some scallions & four shrimp from our bill. The Hostesses: Hailey and Leah were incredibly kind, embodying the integrity of the New Hope community.

However, the kudos end there. The kitchen is a disaster zone. Aside from the authentic Mexican Street Corn and decent cocktails, the rest of the menu is garbage. It’s as if the business was conceived to inflate property value for a future sale rather than to serve the community or deliver a quality dining experience.

A message to the proprietor: Get your chef properly trained or hire a new one. The current fare is substandard and insulting. New Hope deserves better. Your restaurant should be a beacon of culinary excellence, not an example of how to exploit a charming town for financial gain. Get your kitchen in order, or step aside for...

Sick immediately after eating food! Coconut shrimp on pathetic taco with weird white milk sauce over guacamole after eatting this I was violently sick! This was yesterday, Wednesday, July 19th, time we got there was around 7pm. This is so the owner can be alerted as to who was barely working!

Additionally we waited one hour for horrible food. Plastic dirty tables (what happened to the nice pink table cloths that were clean? ) A tall big young blonde haired hostess (she's about 5'9") we asked for some bread or chips as we waited for 20 minutes for a beer she couldn't be bothered as she was hanging out with people she knew her age that were sitting at another table. This hostess was talking very loud saying how the kitchen only had 3 people in the back while all patrons looked at her completely annoyed and then everyone started complaining about waiting so long for drinks and food. Note there are a bunch of young kids that were supposed to be working but they just stand around not helping to get drinks. The owner is loosing money because these kids should be professionally trained, dressed, and getting drinks... Hello owner you are loosing money!!

The owner needs to know this!!!! This used to have excellent service and great food. Now food is so bad it makes you sick!

Give me a break $28.00 for my husbands dinner for three pathetic scallops on mushy risotto? Total bill came to $84.00.

Waitress couldn't even get us a beer we had to remind the blonde big young hostess who had attitude!

What happened to the professional staff that used to be here? The hostess wearing ripped black jean shorts with dangling threads, our waitress with all her piercings in her nostrils?

The owner of this place needs to hire new manager and staff pronto!!

This used to be a classy place but it isn't anymore! We will never go back! This used to be a favorite destination for many years now we will...

August 20th, 2020 1st thing I noticed at the Hotess are was a sign basically insulting their customers letting them know "if they move their seat they will be treated as children... blabla". I think that was my first sign that I should have never even entered this place. We were seated right away... the table we sat on had a couple ants crawling so that means they are not cleaning their tables properly. Took the waitress 15 min to even greet us. We had the menus pulled up on our phones. Specials where mediocre... for the location. She had no clue what was available in the bar. We ordered mojitos that were basically seltzer water and mint. That took 30 min to get to our table. We ordered the crab fondue that was ok...the nachos seemed like they were cooked in old oil. We got our appetizer before our drinks. Then an hour and half past by.. our waitress was nowhere to be seen... our entrees were missing.... my husband ordered Fish and chips and i ordered a Fig flatbread.... we noticed that everyone that had arrived after us had their entrees...i finally got upset and asked a random employee to speak to the manager.... she went to get her that took 10 min... still our waitress was nowhere to be found.... manager comes out she said that the entree were never put in like if it was no big deal. Holly cow... i asked for the check for our drinks yos and appetizers she stated it was on the house but in a very annoyed way. Which was another turn off she was not apologetic at all.. it seemed liken she really did not care. For the nice view and location you guys should do better... get better Waitress that are knowledgeable of all ur menus. Upgrade on the menu. Get better service. I will never go back... but i hope for future customers you improve...
