Hmm. I am going to be fair… I’m struggling to have to give this review - however, I think it’s important to give honest feedback.
If you’re looking for a traditional flaky/buttery crust - you won’t find it here. The cobblers appear to be pre-made ( stickers on bottom of individual cups show you the dates) and therefore the crust has softened. Mine came slightly lukewarm and gummy/ doughy.
I came because I had a raging sweet tooth and was craving some bonafide Southern-style cobbler - you know with the hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and real butter and signature flaky crust ? I should have been tipped off when I walked in and didn’t SMELL anything . I don’t want to be mean in this review, but I sincerely want you guys to go back to the drawing board. Get a Certified Auntie in there to revamp the recipe. Serve your cobbler (fresh) warm. Integrate the flavors INSIDE the dish. I’m going to stop there.
It makes me sad to write this review because I support small businesses with a passion. However , I think said small business needs to be AWARE of areas of improvement. I understand that everyone has different palettes . However- as a local ( or any native Southerner for that matter ), it was an extremely underwhelming experience. Your staff was nice and THAT alone is what makes me regret this review. Excellent business idea, less than average...
Read moreI absolutely LOVE this place! The atmosphere and vibe was everything! The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful!! I see other reviews on here and am genuinely confused! But the COBBLERS..OMG!!! AMAZING!! My fav was the Sweet Potato Pecan!! The Peach was GREAT! The Apple was HITTING! I went out on a limb and tried the cherry—didn’t think I’d like a cherry cobbler but surprisingly I REALLY enjoyed it! It was sweet and tart!! I’ve been there a few times now! And each time my experience was fantastic with both product and staff!! I know we all come on here to see if “this or that” is worth our while…but I encourage everyone to let their OWN taste buds BE THE JUDGE! And I hope the owners see this post:🗣 HEAR ME—YOU CANNOT PLEASE EVERYONE!! But those of us who have become regulars AIN’T GOING NO WHERE AND ARE ROOTING FOR Y’ALL’s SUCCESS!! I was there when some lady called herself giving one of the owners are hard time…take it from someone who’s been around—That saying of the customer is always right…sure—EXCEPT WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS WRONG!! Don’t let anyone bully you into submitting to nastiness, rudeness, or disrespect. They don’t know how your business is ran! What your strengths or weaknesses are and what roles you and your wife designated as what’s for who to do! Some people just don’t know boundaries.

Read moreI was so excited to try the peach cobbler and banana pudding and had high hopes but was disappointed. There were no other customers when my daughter and I went this afternoon and there appeared to only be one worker on duty. The vibe was melancholic and restaurant looked like it was near close although it wasn’t scheduled to close for another 5 hours. The worker was pleasant. He took our order quickly and handed our desserts to us quickly. The cobbler was okay and definitely a better option than the banana pudding but honestly the peach cobbler at Breaux Mart is better and cheaper. The banana pudding was a complete fail. There weren’t any bananas in it, and virtually no nilla cookies. It tasted like cheap instant vanilla pudding and whip cream. The consistency was very off pudding. I couldn’t finished my first bite of it. I may give the peach cobbler a second bite but definitely won’t be patronizing a second time. I almost forgot to mention that my daughter liked the ice cream. I personally didn’t but to be fair it kinda tastes like bryers ice cream which I’m not a...
