This Whole Foods is much smaller than most with a bit less selection and sadly they removed the great BBQ space at the meat counter. This Whole Foods has a very unique location and this reused space does give it some nice unique qualities. This location used to be far better than the Metairie location in many ways but it seems the location in Metairie has started to surpass this location in many ways. They still have a good mix of local, organic, and non-GMO produce. They also offer lots of high carb and high sugar baked goods that most "vegetarians" and "vegans" seem to thrive on. Sadly the formerly excellent selection of cookies no longer exists and they now pale in comparison to what they used to offer. I do look forward to one day meeting a "real" vegetarian or vegan that actually eats veggies instead of most of the ones I know who basically live off desserts and muffins :)

Parking is usually a painful experience here and it is DEFINITELY better to go in off hours as people act crazy about parking here. After Katrina I lived next to the Whole Foods flagship location in Austin so this is certainly a much less dynamic store but it usually serves its purpose. Ever since Amazon took over Whole Foods it simply just isn't as good as it used to be in many ways but you are able to get more deals, discounts and coupons. This is still the most unique Whole Foods I've seen anywhere but I miss the vibe it had before Katrina and Amazon.

One last review of ONE Star for all the LAZY people that leave their carts strewn all over the place in the parking lot! If your going to eat healthy maybe take a few extra seconds of exercise to put your cart back and OUT of my way you rude, pathetic excuses for civilized creatures. It is the utmost in poor manners and you are probably the same douche bags that zoom in and cut people off to steal the parking space that someone else was patiently...

This is the fourth visit to the Magazine Street "Arabella Station" store my wife or I has made in the past three weeks when produce was absurdly low or out of stock. Until now, this was our favorite and only place to purchase groceries - even with several other stores closer to our home.

Unfortunately, going to this store is a waste of time. We will begin shopping at Robert's, because it is closer and they manage to have the produce we need.

Having spent nearly a decade in the food industry, I appreciate eliminating back stock and controlling inventory, but this is too much. Especially, when every time there is a massive outage, the walls are filled with the same stock: turnips, cabbage, lettuce, and beats. Please try carrying more of the stuff that keeps selling out and less of the surplus items.

Having experienced it several more times has been too much and our loyalty and money will go to a different grocer. The employees are stressed about it too. I have witnessed the same employees having the same conversations about the shortages with customers. This is unfair to your employees and decreases morale by giving customers an excuse to confront them.

Do better by your employees. Do better by your customers. I am sincerely disappointed as a life-long, completely...

Good options and nice employees, but confusing and strictly enforced "rules". My last visit was a weekday morning, and the store wasn't very crowded. Accordingly, almost every single self-checkout kiosk was open. However, when I went to checkout I was told I had too many items and had to go to the normal line, of which there were only 2 cashiers open, both with customers there. Why enforce the 20 items or less policy which builds up lines at the few open cashiers? Honestly, why have the item policy in the first place when there are rarely many cashiers open? On another occasion, one of my friends and I were sharing one cart while checking out at two different self-checkout kiosks. As we were leaving, we were told not to do that, and that we needed to get two separate baskets next time. The employee was very respectful and I'm sure well-intentioned, but I'm mostly confused about the policy itself, especially when I've never encountered one at another store. Again, this was handled as best as it could be, but it left me feeling embarrassed and confused that I somehow broke an unspoken rule. WF always has great options and friendly staff, but maybe it's time to reevaluate some of these unnecessary and...

The organic watermelons are all seedless and lacking of taste. They feel more like jello texture on the inside than regular. It's soooo hard to find clean food with no chemicals. Whole foods is supposed to be healthy but nothing is sorted out. The clean is well mixed into the bad. Granted whole foods has more clean food than other local stores but it's still minimal. The organic fruit is very lacking and I hate how they trick you with the non organic next to or in front of the actual organic #9s. No one knows whether anything has a chemical Apeel coating from Bill gates. Costco and whole foods both are bad for all this. Online is the way to go if you don't need something asap. I can't believe New Orleans doesn't have 1 store that everything in it is clean! And I got this cantaloupe and get home to slice it up and it's filled with mold. I'm giving 1 star because whole foods is just another store I try to avoid unless I can't. You would think they would cater more to the actual healthy clean people and help the uninformed get informed but no they just try to trick everyone too.

As far as the apex of grocery experiences Whole Foods has found the perfect formula. Some of the best sourced organic and fresh produce. The best products on the market. If you are looking to improve your health and put the best in your body you cannot do better with the variety and selection at whole foods. With fresh cooked pizza and a good sushi selection or quality cuts of meat or fresh seafood you cannot go wrong. The layout is nice, its easy to find what your looking for. The prices are both a little extravagant yet you can still find affordable products. There is a amazon pickup and return station on site. The parking area is not very large but meets your needs. The bathroom was half out of order when I went and there was a short line for the one working toilet.

I always love going to Whole Foods. For us, it’s an outing. The detail Deputies are always there and friendly. The selections are outstanding. We follow keto (kinda!) and it’s amazing how much keto good stuff we were able to find! I think my favorite part is the fresh flowers. They are absolutely gorgeous, and reasonably priced. Thank you Whole Foods! Keep up the good work!
