People with very very very Bad attitude! I ordered chicken with rice. The gave us combo. I asked them to change it, the lady said it’s too late. We ordered other items like Chicken tikka masala, Halim and Naan. We were busy eating other items, when my daughter started to eat, she noticed dark meat. She asked me if I ordered chicken, lamb or beef, because she’s allergic to beef. I took the plate that she was eating along with foam container to the counter to show that she just started to eat and that’s when my daughter noticed. The lady told me that we are finished eating other stuff that’s I want to return that. I told her then that we are still hungry and we are not returning this, we want the chicken over rice. She’s still arguing with me, some guy from inside told her to replace it. When she brought it back, it was almost half of what they served us first time and when I told her thank you, she didn’t bother replying to me. There was an old lady who was serving us the food. I wanted to give her cash tips. When I went to pay at the counter, the same lady who was rude to me, she forced to pay tips on my credit card. I was going to select the option No for tips on credit card machine, but she pressed the button Yes in front of other customers. Then I added $5 to my $35 bills. I will not take my family again to that restaurant ever. The Food was good. We liked it. Now you can make...
Read moreI had eaten Atlanta's Bundu Khan paratha roll a year ago and I was craving for them so I went to this New York's Bundu Khan to have some Paratha Rolls. I ordered Gola kabab roll, chicken roll and chicken Tikka roll for take away. The first shock I got was the size of the rolls, they were very small in size as compared to the Atlanta one's. I was hoping that if the taste will be same then I will not mind the small rolls, the second shock was the amount of oil, it was dipping from the rolls, if instead of soaking all the oil in tissues, if I would have collected it, I would have cooked chicken biryani for 8 people in that oil. Then there was series of shocks that I got, the roll was no where close to the Atlanta's one. Neither in size nor in taste. I tried the chicken roll first and then the Gola kabab roll. The Gola kabab in that roll was not tasting like a real Gola kabab. I will recommend Bundu Khan owner to try the Gola kabab of Kababish at Jackson Heights. These rolls were like the Kati Roll that I can eat from any food cart in New York, then why should I go to Bundu Khan all the way to eat these expensive, oil dipping, average tasting, paratha roll. The 2 stars I am giving, is for the cleanliness of the shop and hospitality of the cashier. I am not going to this Bundu Khan again but will definitely go to the...
Read moreI would give this place a 0 if I could. When you enter the little store (when I say little it’s the size of two port a potty’s) you could immediately sense the hotties there. There are no means of ventilation and it feels like I’m sitting in hells pit in there. The only ventilation there is the open door because If it was closed we would die from the heat. The tables are very sticky and so are the chairs and you can tell that they don’t clean the area at all. They serve so many people at once that the area becomes congested. When I went to the bathroom there was no soap when I was washing my hands. HOW IS THERE JO SOAP IN THE BATHROOM? The workers are barley there as they are in the back making the food. When I was ready to order, I had to use A PRINTED MENU. THE MENU WAS MADE OUT OF PRINTER PAPER. It was reused so much that the ink on the paper was fading away and the paper had good on it from the last people. I also couldn’t find a waiter so THEY MADE ME TAKE MY OWN ORDER. I don’t like to write reviews but I feel like it is my job to inform people of such a horrible restaurant. Please I’m warning you never enter this excuse of a restaurant as I know now that I will never be...
