Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in New York

Food was great, the tables were messy, the line for the bathroom was extremely long with people coming from outside, the young lady who served me face looked miserable I was hoping she didn’t serve me, but unfortunately she did she did not give me any proteins and when I asked her she claimed she didn’t hear me and okay maybe she didn’t so a professional gentleman was willing to help as she went to the manager who was very unprofessional as he approached me “ what’s the problem? “ no hello , I heard you have concerns nothing . He told me a long policy as I respected it , then tells me I should have told her I wanted a protein.I mentioned I did however she needs to listen better and he tells me I need to speak up. I asked him if he wanted time to scream as the music was as if I was in a club. Homeless people came in begging for your food. I never received a receipt, did not get my drink that came with my daughters meal and when I asked if I can get my drink she stated you want it because you bought a drink didn’t know you still wanted the one that came with the meal ( I’m entitled to a drink why would I not want it) the drink purchased was for me. Then she asked to stay or to go I said I will dine in she goes the dine area closes at 8:30 she said you have to leave by 8:30. Store closes at 11 I believe and okay I get it but you are going to kick me out as I am eating if it’s 8:31 like idk . I took a bag to go and left it was just too much I should have just asked for a refund to be honest. Will NEVER return at this location. This was on 8/16/25 around 8p. This place is very hit or miss. But more miss lately. I kinda luv Chipotle I have been coming here since they open as I work 6 blocks away. The walk makes me even more hungry. I walk up I greet the server girl she doesn't look at me. Says to stay or go? Bowl or wrap?. I give my order bowl white rice with black bean and double chicken. She puts 2 of the smallest scoops I have been given in my almost 4 year of coming here. So I repeat I ordered an double chicken. She scoops 5 more pieces of chicken. I say I'm sorry but by the time I finish this order its gonna cost $20 dollars. And from what I'm used to getting here what you giving me does not match up. She looks at me and aggressively puts the little cup on the rail and says what else. I than ask for the Manager I give the Manager the background story. To which she replies. This is by far the WORST chipotle I have been to, not only is this place not kept clean but the workers are a poor excuse and a poor representation for chipotle. I went to get ONE chicken taco and was OVERCHARGED for chicken to be added to my taco. The man put 2 pieces of chicken and said “this is the serving size for tacos” which is not true. I then asked calmly to add more chicken but was told I had to pay EXTRA for chicken. I kid you not they added 6 pieces of chicken and charged me 4 extra dollars, I ended up paying $8 dollars for a regular skimpy $3.97 taco. The manager told CARLA who works at the register to make sure that she charges me extra for FOOD THAT SHOULDVE BEEN ADDED FROM THE BEGINNING!! I am sick of chipotle workers forcing customers to pay for a regular serving of food and I will not be returning.
