I really wish that I could leave a positive review but unfortunately that's just not the case. I visited this Bronx location on a Saturday evening 5/22/21. The place wasn't crowded or super busy however our server Carmen was very rude, impatient, and had a horrible attitude. We sat down and she introduced herself with an attitude and asked if we were ready to order. We were still trying to settle down so we told her no to which she stormed off. She later returned only after my friend loudly said that we would at least like to place our drink order. She took our drink order didn't ask us which size we would want and left while my friend was in the middle of asking her a question about what she wanted to order. We were ready to order but had to wait until after she returned from the back. She was slamming chairs, glasses, and flinging the serving trays the whole time that we were there. It was so bad that the 4 other tables in her section including ours all started speaking to each other about how rude and impatient she was. We had to ask a different waiter who was passing by for water and A1 sauce and the ranch that was missing from my friends buffalo wings. The food was warm and not hot when delivered and the steak was well overcooked despite being told that we wanted it medium rare. My friends and I were so disappointed in both the food and the service that we left and ordered food elsewhere. So extremely disappointed with my visit. Carmen definitely needs some retraining or to work back house and not directly with the customers we even asked if she needed a break but she said that she had just gotten to work and would be working until close at 1am. To begin, an overhaul change in effectively creating a welcoming tranquil atmosphere is essential. By allowing children (6-11 yrs approximately) to run around near guests trying to enjoy their meal is unacceptable. The assigned waiter was unattentive, no automatic replenishments of water unless you physically had to search for service on your own. Note, it was NOT crowded! Workers were too fixiated and distracted on observing and catering to "particular impressionable women"; thus in effect unable to effectively to provide customer service to other guests. Food was ok but not the greatest quality. The frozen Piña Colada was the only enjoyable item. Perhaps it was the wrong day (Mid week) to visit. My expectations for this location in the future is that they revamp their method in catering to ALL guests appropriately. In addition, if guests ask to pay bill separately, we Should NOT be forced to pay as a group (we were a party of 6 entering but wanted to split into groups of 2). Waiter presumptously & automatically included a group gratuity when it was repetively stated not to charge as a group!!! First time and the last time visiting this place! I walked up to the young lady and presented my id and informed to her I had a mobile order pick up. She asked the name and look and verified the id and said not ready yet I said oh wow I received a message my order was ready for pick up whoop whoop I made it before I was happy. Then after standing wait ling for about ten almost 15 minutes another gentleman approached me asking for my name I gave my id and explained it was a Uber east order for pick up. He said no delivery guy already came why you wait 30 mins for pick up I said I went to the supermarket and still arrived only 2 to three minutes past the time I was informed my food was ready. He said let me see order I showed him the phone and gave him my id. He said no I call ubereats you already picked up.
