Dunkin' — Restaurant in New York

I've been using this Dunkin based off its location which is nearest where I am employed. Over the past couple of years I have noticed that the coffee I order is no where near consistent to say the least. I always walk in and pick up my order because the line for take out is always backed up. Since Covid I have been using their Dunkin app exclusively to cut down on waiting times. I have used this location many times and this past Tuesday I order from the app like I always do and arrived approximately 5-10 minutes later to pick up my drink. I immediately noticed that the lights were not on in their entirety. The staff was inside but the lights for the walk in were off!?!? The line for the drive thru was out of the parking lot and the doors were locked!?!? The app clearly shows that they have both a walk-in and a drive thru. I clicked on a walk-in only to have the doors locked on arrival. I like most people have limited time to get to work. Ordering ahead of time cuts down on this. I would rather walk to work then to wait on their drive thru lines!!! Its ridiculous. I emailed the Dunkin app and complained stating I want my money refunded and surprisingly no one responded after several days! I can and will NOT visit this establishment anymore based off of having been duped into believing they have a walk in service. Adding insult to injury, not a soul can answer my email...

The reason for the two star is because they tend to use cheap coffee cup. I also go through the drive-thru and order a medium hot coffee. I can immediately tell the quality of the cup. The cup is totally different than the cup of my local Dunkin' Donuts. It is paper type cup compare to a good quality foam cup. To make the long story short, I ordered and Large hot coffee. When I was driving and pickup the cup from the cup holder, the lid came off and I spilled coffee on my chest and some spilled to the fabric of my vehicle. This was a brand new vehicle as well. I thought for a moment that it was just a loose lid. When I put the lid back on and grabbed the coffee the lid fell off and another spill. Its okay if the best review i can give. Service here is inconsistent at best. At worst it's tedious AF. Disclaimer: I haven't frequented this branch before COVID-19 lockdown, so I don't know how they operate when it's normal. However they never seem to have enough people working to keep the drive-thru line moving. I'm taking about waiting 5 min for a cup of coffee, c'mon gone a break. They don't let you choose which donuts you want when you order online. I get much better treatment and service outside of Mott Haven. I put up with it because it's one of the only breakfast spots open for miles. We're a captive...
