East Coast Street Tacos — Restaurant in New York

Delicious. Creative. Friendly staff. I’ve been here a few times and I think I’ve had almost everything on the menu. The tacos are good but I would highly recommend you do yourself a favor and order the quesadillas. The falafel quesadilla is probably the best veggie quesadilla I’ve ever had. I actually might even prefer it to the steak quesadilla (although that one is also really good). Strangely though I do prefer the steak tacos to the falafel tacos. The chicken tacos were a hit with my friend (I stuck with my quesadilla). Definitely get one of each empanada, but if you only have room for one, I would suggest the buffalo chicken. And don’t forget to order the passionfruit drink to wash it all down. It’s got just the right amount...

Chips were good. Thats all. Guac tasted weird and astringent. The carne asada was chewey overcooked and gamey. The empanadas were store bought greasy and flavorless. The carnitas tasted like chicken but was bland and had a weird texture. Thank god the tacos came double shelled because the exterior one was stale and inedible ... The mozzarella stuffed corn arepas were okay... too sweet ... Overall. Order at the risk of being more dissatisfied and disappointed then the dating scene in 2020. I Order a shrimp taco and an received a beef or pork taco with none of the toppings I asked for just rice and beans. I order a large passion fruit received a regular size. Also Ordered chicken and steak empanadas and recived nothing but yuca/potato empanadas. My mother had ordered a shrimp burrito the day before I tasted it it was good hence the reason why I decided to give them another try. She now says she broke out from the shrimp taco.
