Gourmet Market & Bagel — Restaurant in New York

This store and Simply Gourmet & Bagels in the Bronx are definitely up to something shady. On March 7th at 12:45 AM, my EBT card was rejected at this store (but still attempted), and then—at the exact same time—someone successfully pulled money off my card at Simply Gourmet & Bagels in another part of the city. There’s no way a person could physically get to another store in 30 seconds, which means there’s a bigger scam happening here.

How do I know the stores are involved? Because I have my card on me. This means these shops are either illegally allowing people to punch in stolen EBT card numbers or they’re part of something even bigger. I would give this a 0 if I could. Order the “chicken dinner” picture shows actual chicken pieces no supposedly came with fries, received 2 tasteless chicken Patties with no fries. Also ordered the bbq wings again the picture showed fresh wings with sauce. Received the pre breaded frozen wings. When we called to find out what happened it took speaking to 3 different people who were clueless as to what the order was supposed to be. Luckily we ordered through Uber and we got a refund. The employee did not pay attention after what I just said. I wanted roast beef on a roll. Instead he said to me "Bacon Egg and Cheese."And I did not say bacon egg and cheese. I also said I wanted Tuna Sandwich with toasted on a roll but then he gave me plain bread without toasting it. He's just being so repetitive for not paying attention to what customers want.
