POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Called there one Friday evening to order some fried chicken. I was told it wasn't ready, she went to ask in the kitchen if more chicken would be available. She told me 45 minutes. I said "sounds good, I want $25 worth of fried chicken" she said "okay, you want the sauce on the chicken or on the side?" Told her on the side. One hour later I go to pick up my chicken, after waiting 7 minutes to be attended to in an empty restaurant. I was told no order was taken for me. The lady said I did not order anything, she told me chicken wasn't ready and I said okay and hung up. I got a lot of attitude from them. Why lie to say I didn't order anything? Wasted my time. Food is delicious and fresh, and the staff is so friendly which is a big deal for a Jamaican restaurant! Breakfast sells out quickly so you'd have to get there before 10 most of the time. The portions are amazing and come in a few sizes, including a mini size which is actually VERY filling for one person and it's only 5.50. They have whole wheat boiled dumplings which they make just right, and their fish is out of this world. It's not only a takeout place, they have tables inside to sit down, with actual place settings. It's not very fancy but you get served on a real plate and with silverware so it's a good place to have lunch too. I really love this place they're always busy so hopefully they'll stay...

Its a Scam now they have changed. They now fill your plate up with rice and give you little meat and you have to argue for a taste of a piece of plantain. You will buy 90% rice from this place. The price is now $8.50 for a mini not a small a mini. Salmon 🍣 is $25 and a mini piece of salmon and 3 bags of rice in a big container. The Dominican restaurant down the street sells a regular for $9 and they give you ground provisions in that plate lots of meat and food and extra plantain if you ask. Even the Doors is giving you more food for $12 than you get in a $19 large at this place. Next time you order just order a large rice because thats what they gonna try and fill...
