Iight so boom. Since there's been an influx of crab spots throughout different boroughs in the city I decided to leave Hot N Juicy alone and try a new location for some good old seafood. Naughty Crab popped up on my Instagram, I went to yelp to check out the reviews and they seemed pretty decent, so I knew this one was worth trying. First things first, this is an Asian owned establishment, so a lot of the flavor profiles will resemble that of an Asian culture rather than your typical old bay and butter. I arrived at 6:30 and on weekdays HH is until 7. Through HH I had a $6 cocktail and $1 per piece of oyster or wing. They also had $5 appetizer options and $1 per piece of their lollipop corn. For drinks, they have a list of cocktails, beer and wine. Mind you, the cocktails are present as virgin so the descriptions only show the juice & flavors, no liquor. Upon inquiry, the only liquor they have is a Korean vodka that can be added to any of the cocktails to make them alcoholic. So there's no whiskey, tequila, rum etc option. I ordered the passion fruit mojito and it was quite tasty. No buzz or anything so the drinks weren't too strong but it definitely tasted good. The grilled oysters were amazingggg, super fresh and a nice texture with the toasted breadcrumbs, garlic and lemon. I do recommend. For the wings I tried their Cajun and black pepper. Both were good, the Cajun is dry and the black pepper is more wet (to my surprise, I assumed black pepper would be a dry rub but it's more like a black pepper sauce) but both were good. For the boil I had a pound of snow crab legs with corn in their naughty sauce. Their naughty sauce is a compilation of lemon butter, garlic, black pepper sauce, essentially their signature sauce. It could've been a bit more potent, or like BAM with the flavors but it was still good, just not as in your face as I would've liked. The garlic noodles were the best things hands down. 10/10 recommend. All in all, this spot is decent. I'm sure there are "better" crab spots around but this one definitely didn't disappoint.

My cousin and I went to this restaurant on Saturday during late end of Happy Hour. It is on the smallish/medium size on top of seriously steep hill if you ride the #6 train to 103rd St. Masks are required as on May 2021 but the seats in the back where the Sugar Skull mural is are not distanced 6ft apart. Naughty Crab did have all the side doors open to the small outdoor dining area. They actually have to 2 areas to eat outside. If you have a large party I would suggest making a reservation. This restaurant is casual, no dress code. The crowd was a mixture of people just enjoying a warm Saturday afternoon. Music was low enough to have a conversation without yelling. Now onto the food. First thing we ordered was drinks I ordered a Pina colada slushie with and my cousin ordered a passion fruit/strawberry mix both of ours had alcohol. My cousin said hers tasted like juice, my Pina colada tasted similar with a vague taste of alcohol. She ordered the spinach dip and I the fish po' boy. The spinach dip came with a good portion of garlic bread. My po' boy was huge; I didn't expect it to be the size it was. The fish po' boy was good and delivered to our table hot, had to let it cool off so I could take bite. There was some seasoning in there with a spicy sauce. I only ate half of the sandwich because it was so much. Well worth its price. We ordered 2 more drinks, this time I ordered passion fruit/strawberry mix and my cuz ordered coconut mojito in the handheld packaging and another one to go. Our waitress was very attentive which is well appreciated. The area of the restaurant is a bit weird because its in area of Manhattan where wealth disparities are glearing. There are projects to the east approximately one block and million dollars homes going west towards Park Ave and further still Central Park. There is a gas station across the street from the restaurant but there's hardly any places to park a car. I would suggest riding the train for a less stressful outing. Overall, we had a good time and the food was decent.

I must say ... I was NOT Impressed at all ... I pulled up a Saturday afternoon for a early dinner . There was a little wait . About 30 mins . They sat us outside in their greenhouse without asking if we would mind & It was a little chilly so I was annoyed that I had to ask 3 times if they could bring out a heater especially since I had a baby with me and they put us close to the door. I also asked for paper towels and a menu , we didn’t receive any until the couple after us left and we took theirs because our server kept FORGETTING US. The calamari which I didn’t get a picture of was pretty good and a nice portion for one . I had the purple rain drink and my friend had the coconut mojito. Both drinks were good if you get them during happy hour and they came in cute little capri pouches and had fresh fruit . My son got the chicken and waffles . It’s comes with 2 pieces of chicken and a waffle . I asked the server to bring bbq sauce for the chicken no ketchup because he can’t eat it . Do you think the server came with the bbq sauce ? NOPE . It took me asking 6 more times and then you know what she brought out when she did remember to bring the sauce? KETCHUP and my kid is allergic 😒 I was so damn annoyed lol like why would you ignore me and still bring the wrong thing 😩. I ordered the headless shrimp with added sausages . The food was very BLAND . No taste at all. The naughty sauce was supposed to be Cajun flavor it wasn’t that good to me , also it was just watery which I don’t like My friend got the snow crab legs with shrimp in her combo . She said she said it was decent. All combos come with corn and potatoes which is 2 small potatoes and a half of corn . Gratuity was added at 18% which was fine but She definitely could have got a better tip if she were a better listener . This place is definitely a NO all around for me . Hopefully if you go you have a better experience.

What in the appropriation is going on at this place? I was very confused by paring of the food, the servers, and the ambiance: There is a Mardi Gras mural /decor, and some of the menu items had Cajun/Southern names. However, it seems to be Asian-owned or at least only Asian employed. We were lost on that fusion, especially since the food tasted ter-ri-ble! We ordered, the crab cakes, the spinach dip, the chicken wings, hush puppies, and two drinks. We were hungry and ready to try not only those things but the boils as well. The crab cakes had fake crab (you know the crab that you get that’s stringy and red?!), the spinach dip was mad runny and came with over-buttered under-toasted garlic bread, the hush puppies had a decent flavor but still a “no!” for the inside was uncooked. The wings were alright. Happy Hour was appealing but the drinks were just some good ole sugar juice because no alcohol could be found. Since the apps were not a good intro to what would come further, we decided to end the visit early. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by 90s hip hop and r&b jam which I love. Our server was very helpful in their recommendation. We got fried mushroom with a divine cup of sauce for starter and then proceeded by ordering headless shrimp in black pepper sauce and snow crab in naughty sauce with medium spicy level which I kind of regretted because the aftermath is deadly. Fresh good food and most importantly, flavorful! If you like them bland, they got chu covered too, boo. Just order it boiled in water with maybe a sprinkle of salt or no salt, who are we to judge. They don't have a liquor license yet but alcohol is not always the host with the most for parties in yo' mouth.

"Laissez les bons temps rouler" at this marvelous and friendly Louisiana style cuisine restaurant on the border of the Upper East Side and East Harlem. We celebrated my Mom's birthday bash with my family and relatives this past Saturday night and everyone enjoyed themselves and can't wait to go back. Best of all the food was scrumptious, fresh and affordable while the service (our server even alerted us when the happy hour was almost over), festive ambience, New Orleans style mural and music was fantastic. Highly recommend the lobster boil and crab croquettes. Thank you to Andreh and his kind and attentive wait staff for a perfect and fun night!
