As seafood and steaks are two of my culinary passions, I’m pretty up on most of the great places in the City, but for some reason I’ve never made it to Prime Catch. That’s probably because it’s located off of TS, an area that I generally avoid as much as possible (except for seeing shows). I’ve been missing out though, as Prime Catch is a nice place with a great staff, and excellent dishes. It’s a good sized place and we sat at the entrance which was fully open. We were kind of almost half alfresco, if you will. The weather and temps were perfect and we enjoyed people watching as we dined. We started with a calamari appetizer. It was tasty and not overly done. We had one main of a whole red snapper with grilled veggies. The red snapper was nicely sized (lots of high quality protein), and well balanced seasonings. But the star dish was the other main, which was the fillet mignon. It was perfectly prepared. It was actually better than the one from a famed steakhouse a few blocks down, also on 46th, that we had had two days prior. We had a side dish of mushrooms, which was also very good. Overall a great experience and a place I’ll return to again in the future.

On a side street in the heart of Times Square holds a small gem of a restaurant with delicious food and great service. The vibe is elevated bar & grill meets Italian classics. The food is cooked well, seasoned and nice portions. The Chicken Parm is really good and the pasta is a wonderful complement not just a filler but really stands out on its own. The lamb chops are some of the best I have ever eaten at this price point. It is affordable but yet done perfectly, has just the right seasonings and the grilled flavor takes it to the next level. Wonderful portion and spinach was delicious. The Mac & Cheese was creamy and luscious and made a wonderful mate to the lamb chops. I also had a strawberry margarita and it was lovely but I consumed it before taking a picture but it is worth the money. Highly recommended. This was a refreshing change of pace restaurants have been so disappointing as of late in Manhattan I am glad to see somewhere still cares about the quality and taste of their food.

We stopped by this restaurant late (around 11:45 PM - a rare find in NYC!) and were so impressed by the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and relaxed. We kicked things off with drinks; the lychee martini and spicy margarita were both delicious and strong, just the way we like them! For food, we ordered the lobster ravioli, lobster bisque, tuna tartare, and wedge salad. everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What really made the night special was the service. Every server was genuinely pleasant and incredibly attentive, constantly checking in to make sure we were doing well. Shoutout to Tolly (I believe he was the closing manager) he was so warm, friendly, and made us feel like family. We ended up chatting for a bit before we left, and his energy truly added something special to the evening. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great late-night dining spot with top-tier hospitality!

I want to start by saying that we are laid back people and I've never sent a meal back in my life, until tonight. The server was ok and the place was nice, the food was another story. My son started French onion soup and enjoyed it. I order the mussles and they were spoiled. When I sent them back I got the impression it wasn't the first time. I felt bad but I wasn't going to eat them and get sick. My mom and son each ordered NY strip steaks, medium rare and I ordered filet mignon medium rare. There's came out properly cooked however mine was blue rare and literally cold to the touch. At this point I was irritated. I looked around to find my waiter and to my surprise, the only waiter I saw was the one with his head down on the front desk and his eyes closed. Seriously.... I called over to him and he popped up. At the same time, our server came to the table. I showed him my steak and to my surprise he said it looked fine. He asked if I wanted it cooked more. He brought back the same steak withe 2 cuts through it. (We are talking about a "steakhouse" charging over $65 per steak, sides $12.00 extra) It was still blue rare but not cold when it came back. My mom doesn't mind rare so I traded her. All the steaks didnt seem to be seasoned and just tasted like heavy charbroil. The kicker was while we were waiting for our bill, one of the cooks came through the front door, past our table into the kitchen with a bag full of snacks and Gatorade. We watched as they opened a big bag of Doritos and dump them on the prep table and all sit around and eat them. Maybe I'm being picky about the last part but after everything else, I'm super irritated.

The total bill was $270.00 for a very sub par meal. I feel like we could have gotten better at an Applebee's.

We are very disappointed this was our "nice steak dinner" to end a cpl...

I am not one to be picky at restaurants but this place, at least for lunch, sucked.

The waiter handed us dinner menu’s at 1PM. We had to ask for the lunch menus. He purposely handed the dinner menus because the prices are more expensive than the exact same items on the lunch menu. The waiter asked if we wanted water in the beginning, and brought out a bottle of water that they charged $10 for. This is a ridiculous price and they purposely didn’t add a beverage section in the menu so that you can’t know how much they charge for it. There was no AC in the restaurant and it felt unbearably humid. They had the TV blaring so loud, at the bar, and it was very annoying throughout the time we were there eating. I ordered a steak sandwich and I couldn’t finish my meal because the steak tasted like it had gone bad. The quality of the food we ordered honestly wasn’t the best. The waiter barely ever passed by and we couldn’t even get his attention. In the end he added his own service fee in the bill hiving himself around 18% tip. We were just a group of three and usually service fees are automatically added for groups.

Personally, I think that for the price you can find so many better restaurants in New York and this place just...

I really liked the ambiance. The music was good and not too loud. I didn’t even need to wear earplugs, as I often do these days to protect me from getting much worse migraines.

I sat at the bar, since it was only me, but tho the bar wasn’t busy and service was friendly, it was very slow.

The food was wonderful! I’m glad I made the choices I did, tho of course nothing I wanted was included in the happy hour specials. The fried calamari was some of the best I’ve had tho it was observed with a little bit of cocktail sauce and a huge thing of tartar sauce. I’m sure I could have gotten more cocktail sauce, since I don’t like tartar sauce, but it wasn’t necessary. The calamari was so good.

The lobster bisque was delicious and the picture can’t show you that it was full of lobster. There was a LOT more lobster than a lobster bisque normally contains and the price was about normal for a lobster bisque with one tiny piece of lobster.

The iced tea was a bit out of control. If I’m going to be charged $5 per glass of iced tea, that glass should be larger than the ones they use AND not 90% ice. That much for a glass of ice with a splash of iced tea is extreme.

I’d still return, since the food was wonderful and hopefully I just got unlucky with...
