Shawarmaddict — Restaurant in New York

I was really looking forward to trying this place after reading all the great reviews, but unfortunately, it was a big letdown. I stood at the counter waiting to order, and after a few awkward minutes, the guy behind the counter finally looked up… and addressed the guy behind me. Luckily, that customer had integrity and let him know I was clearly there first.

I ordered a Shawarma and was told it’d take 10 minutes. That seemed like a long time for fast food, but I figured maybe it’d be worth the wait. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. When it finally showed up, the meat was dry, bland, and honestly just sad.

Yo fr, this spot is straight! Came thru Shawarmaddict the other night and man… that Land of Fire Doner? Insane. Meat was mad tender, seasoned just right, wrapped up real nice. Had it with the garlic fries — lowkey the best combo I’ve had in a minute.
