Sweet Cats Cafe — Restaurant in New York

Such a cute place! The interior design is very girly. The pink color theme, wall of roses, another wall with angel wings and cats on the walls are the perfect backdrop for taking pictures and posting on social media.

Unfortunately, the desserts don’t quite live up to the décor. Yes, the desserts are really cute to look at and they do have some interesting flavors. I just wished the desserts tasted better.

We ordered a chocolate mousse dog, strawberry cake in a box, a slice of ube mille crepe cake and an ube milk tea drink. I was so excited when I saw the desserts. It looked wonderful in person and I was very impressed with the overall presentation.

The chocolate mousse dog was so unusual. I’ve never seen this dessert offered at any other café or restaurant. It was somewhat creepy but cute at the same time. It’s literally a chocolate mousse dessert shaped like a puppy. The details were amazing. Unfortunately, the chocolate mousse tasted so bland. It tasted more like chocolate marshmallows and had the same consistency—not at all like mousse. I wanted more of the chocolate flavor and was very disappointment in this dessert. My only consolation was that I got some cool pictures out of it.

The ube crepe cake was okay. The edges were very dry which leads me to believe that it wasn’t fresh. The middle part was good though. The ube flavor was subtle and the cream was nice and light.

The strawberry cake in a box was nicely packaged. It came in a clear rectangular box with a tiny plastic spoon. The cake itself was nice and moist and the strawberries were fresh. I would order this again.

The ube milk tea was very good. This was probably my favorite thing that we ordered here. It had nice flavor, it was not at all watery and it came in a very cute cup. I must say they really care about the presentation of their drinks and desserts here. And as I’ve already said the restaurant is visually arresting. If I do come back it would be to try out more of...

I’ve been going to this place for about 2 years now & there’s always a bad experience. Tonight I really didn’t feel good about it. Number 1: when taking a customer’s order, kindly ask if they would every together in a container or separately. On one visit there I’d asked a male employee for 4 pieces of crepe cake in 2 separate box & I was told there wasn’t enough box for that. Ok! Tonight this female employee also put 4 pieces of crepe cake in 1 box! Eg: my purchase was for 4 persons & not just me. Number 2: I had 30 minutes in the shop, because they were closing at 8:30. To make it easier for the person taking my order I asked about a drink than to go through the menu and she suggested “strawberry green tea”, but instead I wanted a “strawberry milk tea”. I realized that after I saw the drink she handed me. However I asked if its not supposed to have milk and she said ‘no’ rather than to asked me if she can fix the drink. Number 3: THEY ARE OVERPRICED! Number 4: The size of their cake slices are to small! Number 5: I’m never supporting this...

the first thing you notice in the place is the pink but the pink color make this place look amazing. the next thing that you notice are the claw games these are fun ranging from 1 dollar to 2.50.the people who work there are amazing people who are extremely helpful and kind.the place is open for in door dining .now let talk about the foods.I had a rainbow crepe cake and it was good but my friend and my spouse both had the strawberry crepe cake and I take some off of my spouse plate and let me tell you something that cake was amazing . the strawberry Jam was the perfect amount of sweetest that it complimented the crepe creme layer to make a perfect dessert that is just right. now for the drink I had the frozen volcano and it was amazing it tasted like a dragon fruit lemonade made from heaven . my friend on the other hand had a banana milk bubble tea and she fell in love with it . my spouse had the dragon fruit yakult and it was ok personally wouldn't get it again . overall this place is amazing and will be coming...
