Do Not Eat Here – Save Yourself the Trouble I rarely write negative reviews, but this place was awful. I came for breakfast with my toddler since it’s near the Ecuadorian Consulate — big mistake. It’s advertised as fresh Ecuadorian food, but the place was dirty, with food under tables, in corners, and under the hot plate warmers. No menu was given, and the staff just stared.

I ordered a bolón and two coladas; the food came fast, looked unappetizing, and was cold inside. My toddler gagged on it. When I went to pay, the total was $27.50 — no clear breakdown, no receipt, and no explanation. Later I found out the tip was already included, yet I had left an extra tip on the table because no one told me. When I asked for clarification, the staff became defensive and rude.

There are plenty of clean, authentic Ecuadorian spots nearby — skip this one and support better local businesses.

Rara vez escribo reseñas negativas, pero esta experiencia fue terrible. Fui a desayunar con mi hijo pequeño porque está cerca del Consulado del Ecuador, y fue un gran error. El lugar se anuncia como comida ecuatoriana fresca, pero estaba sucio: restos de comida debajo de las mesas, en las esquinas y bajo los calentadores. Nunca me dieron un menú y el personal solo me miraba fijamente.

Pedí un bolón y dos coladas; la comida llegó demasiado rápido, se veía poco apetecible y estaba fría por dentro. Mi hijo incluso tuvo arcadas al probarla. Al pagar, el total fue $27.50 sin explicación ni recibo. Más tarde me di cuenta de que la propina ya estaba incluida, pero igual había dejado dinero extra en la mesa porque nadie me lo comunicó. Cuando pedí una aclaración, el personal fue grosero y a la defensiva.

To be Honest. I do not know what the food taste like. Because I couldn't order. I went inside because the food smelled really good on the outside and it looked good on the photo. However, the menu is in all spanish and the workers did not speak English. One looked at me like I had three heads when i walked in some didn't even look my way at all. I was very disappointed.
