After our whale watching adventure, we stopped by Balboa Beach Treats for a quick lunch. My wife said the chili cheese dog was pretty good, while the corn dog I ordered was just okay. Our kids finished the chicken tenders and chicken nuggets. There’s even a traditional pay phone here, which is quite a rarity these days, and my wife introduced it to our kids. Overall, it’s a good place to grab a quick bite.

Fantastic! I got a funnel cake and churro both were delicious. I got the funnel cake with only powdered sugar. . It tasted better and cheaper than Winter Fest in Costa Mesa!! It’s evident they use clean oil and sell quality yummy treats! I live in the area and this is my go to place for a beach treat!

Loralee and Aunt Karen both ordered frozen banana treats while I went with a swirl cone (regular cone, not waffle). After our boat ride it was quite refreshing to grab something sweet and this really hit the spot! Definitely recommend trying this spot if your nearby and looking for some cold.
