May 18, 2025 Sunday Used to come to Das Boot Camp when they first opened 12~ years ago all the time! Finally came in again, and it was incredible as before. They are owned by the same people who own Royal Bavaria on Sooner Rd. If you've been having a hard time getting a table over there, try Das on Main Street! The interior is cute, cozy, and properly themed. They have great beer options and their food is always delicious and perfectly cooked. I regret not coming back any sooner. Our waitress was the sweetest young lady and made our return enjoyable. This establishment deserves more recognition and more customers. I would HATE for this place to end up going out of business, it always seems so empty!

Omg the food was just fantastic! I have to say I was incredibly skeptical stopping off on our road trip home for German food but this place was impressive! Pricing was incredibly reasonable and their happy hour was great. It's a small place but I noticed they accommodated a fairly large party of 8. Our server Brantley I believe was amazing (sorry if I got your name wrong I lost my receipt!) But all the staff seemed to work together well and accommodate all the guests in a timely fashion. Absolutely would recommend again!!! We got the sausage plate appetizer, jagerschnitzel and Jager roast and all of it was just exquisite! Definitely worth the 10ish min detour from i35!

Das Boot is one of those restaurants that you can go to again and again and always have a good time. We've had everything from the sliders to several kinds of schnitzel, from their cheese curds to their bread platter. My parents have tried at least half of their own draft beers and have only had good things to say about them. Every time we've gone, our service has been wonderful and attentive, be it a slow early dinner period to the busier lunch rush. Our personal favorite dish is anything with their Jaeger gravy (the bacon and mushroom one), so definitely give one of those a try when you go! Also, try their key lime mints! They're different but really good.

My friends and I love coming here for the beer in the evening, but the past few times we've come the service has just been awful! It stinks because we love the place. We really weren't loud or demanding, but I asked the waitress for a water THREE TIMES over the span of two hours and I never received it. A person at our table requested a single lemon and the waiter literally slammed the glass of lemons down on the table. We weren't there past close, and they weren't busy. It's 11:30 pm when I'm writing this, and we left half an hour ago.

I visited another time when our party came in on a Friday when they closed at midnight. We came in at 10, intending to stay till 11:30, and at 10:50 they were already edging us out stating that they were closing at 11. Again, I get it, they want to go home if they're dead, but you have paying customers in the restaurant. Customers that paid for really large beers that they intended to finish before midnight, not before your "revised" closing time. Its just tacky to edge out paying customers because you want to go home an hour earlier than your posted hours.

I understand how it must suck to work late on a Saturday but you're open till midnight, and you committed to this job. If you didn't want to work till midnight (which is such an early closing time for a place that serves alcohol) then maybe don't work at a place with a bar. I never worked at a bar because I didn't want to be out till two. That's a consequence of your job, and if you're going to be rude to me because of your decision, I'm not going to be very...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Hear me out before condemning me to death. The food and drinks at this place are great! The atmosphere is awesome. Very nice place to eat at.

However, one day my foreign exchange student friends and I came here for a celebration of sorts. (We were OU students at the time) We had just all landed jobs at a career fair and decided to go out for some drinks. My friends not being from the US did not have a US ID. But they had a document considered even better for proving your identification. Which by the way you now need in Oklahoma unless you have a real ID. This item was....their passport. Upon showing their passports, they were told that passports are not a legal form of identification. I told them there must be some mistake as I had came here with other foreign students who used their passports, which again is a form of legal identification to order drinks. I asked for the manager and he also said they do not accept passports as a form of identification. I remember the look on my friends faces when they realized that they were not going to be served due to them being from another country. In my eyes this was a form of discrimination, and I will never go here again. I know that I may be alone in the fight against discrimination, but I would rather die fighting for what is right, then continue to allow something that is wrong.

I hope everyone reading this...

Our one and only time here was pretty bad. Our waitress was off putting, but we let that slide since we weren't positive if they had recently started or not. She was constantly confused, and would disappear for long periods.

Then, our food took the longest when we initially were the only ones even in the restaurant. We waited quite a while. Every table after us had their food and drink.

The food wasn't very good. Our sauces (the mustard for our sausage and whatever comes with the pretzel) were putrid, and looked left out for a long period of time. They had a shell covering them from being exposed to air for too long. And whatever it was came with the pretzel tasted like it had gone bad.

We also stood by the cash register in the front because it took anyone a while to gather a receipt so we just stood there and waited. And then they thought we were coming in from outside, we could've just walked away without anyone knowing. But that isn't how we behave so we waited for them to get the receipt and paid and left.

Overall the entire experience was subpar. Sure the interior decoration was cute, but everything else we experienced had us cringing, wanting to hurry up and get out of there. So glad we didn't end up with a stomach bug...
