Some of the reviews and content on the Google maps landing page are confusing. Here's what I wish I knew before I first ate here. This restaurant is a counter-serve joint where you stand in a line then order and pay at the register and then sit down with a number and the food is brought to you when it's ready. I don't know why there's a reservation option on Google. There are no servers that are going to come check in with you and serve you drinks like one reviewer complained about. There are only bottled drink options which you purchase at the register. The menu is large for a counter-serve place so I recommend reviewing the menu before you go so you don't hold up the line figuring out what you want. There is no kid menu. I see lots of complaints about the pad Thai. This is a mostly Japanese food restaurant so if you want good Pad Thai go to a Thai restaurant. We ate sushi and edamame. Three of our four rolls were very fat and it was difficult to eat a piece in one bite as sushi is supposed to be eaten. The taste was good for cheap sushi and the presentation was lovely though our personal plates were disposable Dixie paper plates which kind of clashed but got the job done. The staff were very friendly and cheerful. This is a fast casual mostly Japanese place catering to American taste and we'll probably...
Read moreUpdated review* I used to be very fond of this restaurant and frequent it often. The last three trips I have made have been such a terrible eating experience. I’ve made two different to go orders for sushi and one for hibachi. Both times the sushi tasted old and gave me the impression that it had sat out for a while. Both times it made me and my fiancés stomach hurt. The third and final time I’ve ordered it was chicken hibachi. The chicken was extremely tough, burnt and chewy. It was the most disgusting hibachi I’ve ever had in my life. I had to throw the entire thing away. I used to love this place and the food was so good and affordable. Three separate and sequential bad orders has permanently lost my business and I will be sure to never recommend this place to anyone. Sad and unfortunate.
Old review* The fried rolls are exceptional. I also ordered the lunch Chicken teriyaki and rice bowl. The portion was very generous. The food took almost no time to come out. I would recommend and...
Read moreI ordered online and it is not what I expected and very disappointed. I ordered the fried rice with Habachi, rolls, and spring rolls. The fried rice was plain, it HAD no flavor and no egg or veggies that fried rice usually comes with. I am not of Asian descent so I might be biased and speaking of an American perspective, but the fried rice I know has egg and veggies. Secondly, the meat and veggies HAD zero flavor as well, and had no spice or anything that is what makes it hit and taste good. Honestly Panda Express is way better and has more taste and flavor! The spring and sushi rolls were good but not outstanding. I would rate them a 6/10 as I had better spring and sushi rolls. The common denominator is that all of the food tasted so plain and simple and had no taste or flavor. This is my honest opinion, but every individual should try it and experience it for themselves. But if you are the person that goes off reviews, then save your time and money and...
