They solicited a review, so here we go. Made a takeout order. I used the preferred app of the restaurant (Toast) and the app said the food would be ready on 15 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later and the first thing that hit me wasn't the pleasant aroma of BBQ, but a strong oder of what can only be described as gas station restroom. As this was my first time there, I chalked it up as some sort of isolated incident that is hopefully being addressed smd went to the restaurant side of the establishment (the other side is a neighborhood bar/casino). After a few minutes, I was greeted by a gentleman and when I told him I had an online order he said it was being made. Cool. Waited another 15 minutes for my order, then brought it home. We had a couple sandwiches (bbq tritip and hot link that were good, but not great. 7/10 on those. The fries were limp and chewy, 2/10. I ordered a hot link on the side, and at first I thought it wasn't in my order. We found the extra links in the wife's order box. The links were as others described. Very loose and mushy, almost the consistency of chorizo. My wife ordered the beef and pork ribs in a combo meal. The first thing we noticed were the ribs were slathered in a ridiculous amount of sauce, which was only so-so tasting. The pork ribs were small and tough. 1/10. The beef ribs were very tough and dry. 1/10. We had chili and green beans on the side which were not good. 1/10. Chili was greasy and thin, green beans were dry and flavorless. At $30+ per person for our order, there's much better BBQ nearby. Their cornbread was the best item we had, and it was pretty...

Now when I see a menu certain things jump out at me. And I don't care I have to have it. Well that was me and these Green Beans.
I was honestly in heaven to finally have tried this food truck. Sometimes everything aligns perfectly and the Food God's grant mercy on the cravings.
Opted for the Garlic Green Beans of course, pulled pork, chicken, Mac and Cheese, peach cobbler, and potato salad. Can I say oh my oh my. 100% I will admit I wolfed everything down minus those Green Beans. I baby sat them like a kid holding on to a bag of m&m and sharing only 1 at a time. Yes that good
The staff were beyond courteous and hospitable. Everything is made daily so you know your getting fresh quality.
Would most def recommend- pricing for the portions was reasonable in my opinion. Everything was bagged up perfectly for the ride back to the house. I'm still dreaming...
Read moreThe staff I met here were all incredibly friendly and genuine, making me feel very welcome as soon as I stepped through the door. I took a recommendation and tried the Tri-tip sandwhich with some lemon pepper fries, 2 hot links, and peach cobbler at the end. It took them barely any time to have it all out and everything was fresh, hot, and most importantly, SO delicious. The fries were a good size while being perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of seasoning. The meats were just as amazing, especially with the wonderful sauces included, can't miss the bread either I didn't expect the bread to be so important, but it really brought out the best aspects of the tri-tip while shining bright itself.
For anyone thinking about coming here, 100% you should. Looking forward to coming back in the future to try some pulled pork next...
