Oakland Food Hall — Restaurant in Oakland

Food was great, website interface is problematic. At ~4:50p placed a single order via the Oakland Food Hall website, from three stalls (Tipunan, Afters, and Rocko’s).

Issue 1) I was getting an error message saying at least 1 item in the cart could not be scheduled at the specified window (6:30-6:45), but it would not indicate which item(s) so I had to manually delete and re-add items into my cart to adjust. I paid and got an order confirmation, all seemed to be well.

Issue 2) I was not texted or informed of any issues with the order in the meantime.

Issue 3) We get to the Food hall at 6:50, and the order wasn’t ready. In fact, we were told by the attendant that for some reason the order was in limbo somewhere between the intake company that handles the web orders and the restaurants themselves, then that the restaurant could see the order but that for some reason a ticket wasn’t printing to show that the order truly went through? I get a text at 6:53 that the order is ready. The attendant proceeded to go back and forth between the kitchens and us, by the third or so time eventually assuring us the food was now ready but the restaurant wanted to make certain they were going to get paid by the orders. We left with the food by 7:15, which at that point is 45 minutes past the start of my pickup window.

I would be willing to try it again because the food was good and it’s at a convenient location but they definitely need to fix this if it’s an...

Picked up some delicious filipino food from Tipunan! Missing some home cooked sinigang and turon. GENEROUS portions and served HOT. I love that they ask if you want patis (fish sauce) which is not something you always have on deck until you NEED IT. They have mango nectar as well. The Gina brand that we all grew up on. :) I wish they had Sarsi (filipino root beer or something) but the Mango nectar was my first choice anyway. You can order online or at a tablet and then you watch around for the food. Took a while but worth it cause it's hot. I walked in to order so I'll order ahead next time. Ate outside at these cute little tables with umbrellas since the weather was so nice anyway. There is parking! That is a great plus. I didn't get to share any food with my boyfriend....so I will be back! I also didn't get pictures because I was super excited about hot Sinigang and rice so...pictured is just the turon, the mango nectar and the outside...

Hi so this evening I ordered chicken quesadillas from MexMix Grill. The order says it comes with salsa and sour cream which is why I ordered it. When I got my bag it didn't have sour cream and so I asked for it. The girl at the counter said they'd gone home at 10:20 pm and the app said they close at 11:30. So then I go ok I rate you a one star and then she goes ok I'll go get it. She brings it and I leave. I get to my car and she had obviously put salt in it. I have never tasted sour cream so salty before. She's nasty. A nasty heifer. And a liar and lazy. And shouldn't be working for any food service establishment. Because she obviously tried to poison me with salt. She needs to be fired. I mean she was really not nice pretending to be so. And the bathroom was disgusting. And I did say something I guess that's why she said no at first and when she saw I was right said she'd go get it D what is wrong...
