I learned of this place through a friend before it opened, and a year later I keep returning. They pour from 16 taps with an ever-changing array of fine brews: beers, ales, saisons, barleywines, sours, krieks -- I don't know a lot about brewing, but I love to try all the different styles, and I've never had the same beer twice. Whether you're curious or a connosieur, you'll probably be impressed.

Finding gems like this is the reason I love living and working in Oakland. The Good Hop has a huge selection of carefully curated beers from large scale and independent brewers alike. If you're ever trying to find that one limited beer, this is the place to come. The best part is they also have their own selection of beers on draught AND you can buy one of the beers in the case and have them pour it right away.
