Bingo Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Oberlin

This was our first time ordering here. My husband suggested it considering we use to live in Oberlin for over 10 plus yrs and definitely did not like/care for the other restaurant between their horrible food and horrible, rude staff I had found a much better place in Grafton!! I should've known from calling in a take out order and the woman hardly understanding me and vice versa that this was going to be all the way bad!! But, everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt & still went through with it...HUGE MISTAKE!!! I specifically ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken for the hubby. Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs for us to share and Shrimp Lo Mein for me and 4 Spring Rolls. Spring Rolls...yummy. Lol Mein...me, ok. THE SPARE RIBS...UH NOT SPARE RIBS!!! I have had them enough to know the texture of them and what they look like and TASTE..NOT PORK OR BEEF SPARE RIBS!!! Meat so tuff and each bone unusually shaped from each other. Bite into it and knew that there's no way they were spare ribs from beef or pork!!! I specified that I wanted pork fried rice with the orders...got sticky, white rice. Let me interject real quick before I forget...they didn't have the ribs ordered when I arrived to pick up my order. Had to wait another 10 mins for those and still had to pay $19.99 because of her mistake. One other thing, she asked me when I got there did I live in town and I had told her not anymore (thought that was weird)Over all, I will never return there!! Though the atmosphere is beautiful in there, I will stick to driving to Grafton to the one I love and get REAL SPARE RIBS there and not mystery ribs of different sized meat tips and meat so tough that it took a serated knife to cut and was...

I have eaten at many Chinese Restaurants in Lorain County and this hidden gem with a cozy, gently elegant atmosphere and with a very detailed and exquisitely designed dining experience is by far the best Chinese Restaurant in my view. I am picky and difficult to please, but this place is one of the few restaurants that didn’t disappoint me.

I am of native hispanic origin and old school as I am, respect for the rice is of utmost importance to me. I ordered the General T’sos meal and I was very delighted that my pork fried rice was on a separate dish to the meat and vegetables. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and flavored with sauce and it was crispy on the outside and tender chicken on the inside.

My wife ordered pork dumplings which were as if home cooked with carefully prepared love and just the right tenderness that made the taste feel just right.

I give this place the highest marks for customer service also, that showed genuine caring attentiveness that made this restaurants atmosphere an exceptional...

They enforce your tip, no matter how good or bad the service is! I used to visit this restaurant at least once a week, sometimes even twice a week, but recently I haven't been in for a month or two because of the busy schedule. Today, I suddenly remembered that I haven't been there for a long time. I ate dinner there tonight. When I checked out, I was forced to charge a tip? ? ? And there is hardly any service today, not even ice water is added, and there is no response, usually, I leave a 15%-20% tip, but when you don't get any service, I am Say anything! Do you still need to pay a corresponding tip for this? When they finished swiping the card, they directly told me that you only need to sign this, I was very surprised! ! Without even an explanation, I don't know what happened in the month or two I didn't patronize, but the table next door to me was equally forced to tip and they were equally unpleasant! As a regular customer, I will never go back to this...
