The service was still good compared to the other eatery in Oviedo but the black garlic tonkatsu was somewhat missing the main ingredient - black garlic :( i went back to ask them what happened to the soup but the guy claimed that the black garlic is "infused" into the clear oil that was floating on our soup. Not sure of he knew thay black garlic is supposed to be black in colour too. Anyway I even apologized for my "mistake" of saying the black garlic is .. ah...black lol! He continued the story that the oil is infused with garlic taste and offered to give "more" . Not sure if "more" meant the actual black garlic that was missing in the first place lol! We were disappointed that the soup was not as flavourful as the one in Oviedo, and also when we requested for extra Scallions, there werent extras... so likely we will return to the Oviedo outlet even though it is more than one hour's drive from home. Coz in the end, what is black garlic tonkatsu without the ... gasp......

I ordered (2) tantan ramens($18 ea), with a chashu order (which was $5 for 2 slices of chashu…) on the side, and I guess… an egg 🙄 (it was $2) which my husband and I split. Usually tantan has an egg, so that was disappointing. The egg wasn’t bad, the broth was mid, chashu was alright and not much noodles. So all in all it was $46 for mid Tantan. Spend your...

The Tantan was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice and nuttiness. The ground meat and sesame flavors were spot on, making every bite super satisfying.
The Spicy Miso was equally amazing — deep, umami-packed broth with a kick that warms you up without overwhelming the palate. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the toppings were fresh and generous.
Service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was cozy but lively. I’ll definitely be...
