My girlfriend and I love pho and make it a point to try a new place almost every week. I was always hesitant about ordering pho from a sushi bar so avoided this place even though it's less than a mile from my residence. Today my girlfriend was feeling sick and we had plans to eat pho at our favorite vietnamese restaurant about 15 minutes away. Due to her being under the weather we thought we would just do takeout from a place closer to our home. So we called this establishment and while the place is nice the pho had to have been the worst out of the 15+ places I have visited in Orlando. Firstly, the price is $12 for a pho Thai Nam which isn't outrageously expensive at first glance but when you see how much they give you compared to some other places that charge $9-10 a bowl it's ridiculous. Second as I stated earlier I live less than 2 minute drive from them so when they said pickup would be ready in 20 minutes I left 3 minutes before. About time I got there and back the pho was so cold it couldn't warm up my steak so I ate it completely raw, it's as if it was sitting there 1 minute after I hung up and placed the order. Not to mention the summer rolls were also some of the worst I've had the displeasure of eating. I can go on and on with criticisms but do yourself a favor and visit one of the more authentic spots in downtown for pho, they are cheaper and give a...
Read moreWent here after a workout and it was the best decision ever. Nothing like good food, scenery, AND laughs to go along.
Gabriella was hands down one of the best servers I've ever dined with. She kept us laughing the whole time and it was good vibes. She made the experience a lot smoother with her knowledge of the menu and answering all of our questions and even helping with recommendations. She made each moment memorable, from the way she prepared our drinks, to making sure we were enjoying the meals by constantly checking up. 10/10 !
We were seated within seconds of walking in (no appointment). The food was absolutely delicious and didn't take long to arrive once we ordered. Everything we had was tasty. From the Miso Soup, to the California, Tempura Chicken, and Mexican Rolls, as well as the Mt. Akina. Nothing missed hitting the spot!
The restaurant has a nice ambiance to it, very relaxing. We sat right next to a huge fish tank, and were able to see their projector outside that has amazing images shining onto a wall outside the restaurant and goes with the music being played inside (I believe) . Fantastic work !
Highly recommend coming here and if you're lucky to get Gabriella be ready to have your stomach full and hurting from laughing so hard. Great...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I are from out of town and wanted to stop by and grab a quick bite to eat before heading back to our air bnb nearby. So we ordered takeout, and agreed to wait in the restaurant for 20 minutes while our meal was cooked. She ordered the seafood noodles, and I got the chicken teriyaki. The chicken was pretty mediocre for the price, but edible. I wouldn't have ordered it if I'd known, but it was fine. My girlfriend's soup, however, was a different story. The shrimp was fine, but the fish cake looked like some bologna spam hybrid creature. The crab was maybe imitation crab at best, and the noodles weren't cooked in the broth properly. The broth itself was a watered down mess. All in all, not at all worth the $14 price tag.
To their credit, when we called them back about it, they agreed to switch out the noodles with an order of hockey teriyaki, and even agreed to deliver it to our air bnb residence at no extra cost. They were very understanding about the whole situation, and it was all sorted out eventually. I won't be going back myself, not for the price, but they saved themselves in the customer service department. Definitely not the worst place I've been by far, but not the best, either. It was passable. Just avoid the seafood noodles...
