We decided to have dinner at Fazoli's last night. This was in OshKosh, Wisconsin. during the EAA Adventure Show. There was one young lady taking orders, delivering food, stocking silverware, and cleaning tables by herself. It took us nearly an hour to receive our meal. I understand that things happen from time to time, but this is the single busiest week of the year, when over 100000 visitors flock to OshKosh. That restaurant should have been at least double staffed for the influx of visitors. Instead, more visitors than not got tired of waiting and left to find dinner elsewhere. The young lady named Summer did a tremendous job under a lot of pressure. I asked several times to speak to the manager, but the manager apparently was not interested in speaking with me. I worked in customer service for 35 years. So I know that when a customer wants to speak with the manager, there's usually a very good reason for it. I guess the manager did not have time to speak with me. Instead, I decidedI would let corporate know. I have eaten at this location several years in a row, and it's usually fine. Yesterday was a disaster that should have never happened. Someone needs to have a conversation with that manager and explain that when you were expecting 100000 out of town visitors, you probably should add your staff. Unless the management had planned for full staffing and everybody called out sick, there is no reasonable excuse for what happened. I also would have really appreciated it if the manager had taken the time to listen to me. Instead, I hope that you will listen to me. If I choose to eat at Fazolis next year. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was very disappointed. This was my first time at this location but Iāve gone many times to the location in Grand Chute off of College Ave and Iāve always loved the service and food. Tried this location and the guy that took my order was very short with me. Maybe it was because we took a little longer to place an order in the drive thru with kids who couldnāt make up their mind. But I asked questions and he was very short with me. You could hear the anger in his voice. With every meal that was ordered he sounded upset and kept rushing us to finish by the tone of his voice. Once we finished our order, he rushed us to pull forward to the window as if he was relieved we were finally done. My wife and I looked at each other like āwhat the heck was that about?ā Got to the window and the reaction was the same. Short and stern. My thought was āthis kid shouldnāt be in customer serviceā. We received our food and got home to hopefully enjoy our meal. I got the Spicy Baked Ziti with chicken. A dish that Iāve gotten 50 times before. The only thing I ever get from Fazolis. This meal was not what I had the previous 49 times. It had a stale flavor. The texture of the cheese and sauce was not consistent with what I had before. It tasted like I mixed chef Boyarde and stale water and called it āspecial sauceā. The chickens flavor tasted old and stale as well. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have loved Fazolis since I was a little girl. Italian food is my kryptonite :) Today, I went to the Oshkosh location with a gift card in hand and very low in cash. Within moments of arriving, I realized I wasnāt sure what I wanted since thereās SO many great options! Within seconds of deciding what I wanted, I heard a very sweet voice greet me. Carlie Jo walked up to the counter and was ready to take my order. I was instantly impressed with how kind she was! From start to finish, she was making me smile and made my experience outstanding! She also knew the menu very well and was able to answer my questions within seconds with ease. And the best part of all, I was short $0.12 for my bill and Carlie Jo asked Travis (iām assuming a manager) if it was okay. They let me slide on that last $0.12 instead of not being able to get my beloved Fazolis I was looking forward to.
