The Stone Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Ossineke Township

This is our second pizza from Stone Bar and Grill. Since we are new to the area, we've been trying local pizza take-out. After eating the pizza tonight, I do have to say they have great pizza. However, the lady at the bar really appeared as if she could care less. I have never thought about tipping on food I pick up, but now just about everywhere, places are putting it right on the bill. 10%, 15%, 20%, custom. No different here. I added 20% the first time, but $3.00 this time. The lady brought out my pizza, took the receipt, turned and started talking to another waitress and customer. No "Thank you", "Drive carefully", "Have a good night", "Enjoy", nothing. Just one of those would have been more than satisfactory. If I could have scratched out the $3.00 tip without making a scene, I would have. Better yet, those tips for carry out pizza, should go...

I've loved this place since I was little playing shuffleboard in the old building. They have recently expanded their menu and added much better options. Most of the places in the area have the same thing pizzas burgers and more fatty american foods. They took the menu to a differant level I'm assuming to stand out from the other places which I think was a brilliant idea. I've never had a problem with my food here. Even when I was little. Sometimes mistakes get made but are corrected if necessary. I like that their drafts have craft beers now and they did a good job at choosing drafts that are not like the other ones. The EAGLE RIDERS based in Hale, Michigan came to the Stone Bar and Grill as our sanctioned dinner ride on Thursday, September 5th. It was my suggestion to come here and for our first time there was able to bring 12 Riders mostly new to Stone's. Our ride was very scenic as we viewed the southern and western part of Hubbard Lake. April, our hostess/waitress there did an outstanding job for our group and please commend her on the great job she did for us ! Our dinners were very good and the environment inside is, also, very nice and provides that 'up north' feeling.
