Okay y'all, now come on. With all this back and forth pandemic this and that, this place has continued to roll with it so give them credit. We took a chance on a lazy Sunday night and popped in just before 5 pm. We found employees just coming on shift and others who had been there a while yet. All of them had great attitudes and a willingness to help customers by providing efficient service and...AND!! Off-menu drinks, so yay! I heard one customer explain "ranch water," a mixture of tequila and club soda and sure enough, they could supply. I tried the Fruit and Fire Martini (per menu) and liked it but...I decided I really wanted a Habanero Vodka Martini (off menu) and was provided with a perfect rendition. We swooned over the flat iron steak (just like my mama makes) and enjoyed the casual goodness of fries and a pulled pork sandwich. This night, no dessert needed. We were full! Sauntered to the car and felt lucky to have found the place! Notes: Plenty of parking in the huge strip mall lot, even you're towing an RV. Outdoor dining is available. Indoors they have bar counter seating as well as booths and tables. Something for...

I DO NOT RECOMMEND! NOT WORTH IT.

After driving over 10 hours we were tired and hungry. We waited over a hour to receive our food! (Mind you we ordered appetizers as our main dish because we’re were so tired and just wanted to eat something little and go to sleep. Therefore I truly didn’t understand why it took so long!) The entire time we didn’t see our waitress. She never checked in and gave us an update on our food, or even apologized for the wait when we finally received our food. Our fries were freezer burned, and the carne asada was just ground beef. Overall the food sucked for the amount of time we waited! We left half our food on the plate. When the waitress brought the check she left a note stating the bill doesn’t include the check. Then proceeded to write the tip present/options. Absolutely ridiculous. Our bill was over $80 for 4 appetizers! Terrible customer service and not worth the wait for small appetizers that were probably brought out of the freezer. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I also had massive stomach pains after eating here!...

To say I'm disappointed is an absolute understatement. We're a family of 6, we don't go out often and when we do we try to support local places.

My dad called ahead to see when the Dbacks game was on. My boys recently started playing and he wanted to show them on the big screen what the pros do. Well we get there at 7:15p when it's supposed to start and it's not playing. We all get situated and start to pick out what we're having and around 7:30 ask if they're going to turn the game on. Which were then informed they can't play because it's only on Apple and they don't have it. So we decide to just order a second set of sliders to take home and we will watch it on the regular screen.

30!!minutes later were finally leaving. We got the pulled pork sliders... It should not have taken an additional 30 minutes to make 4 sliders.

Anyway, their loss... We'd have been a $200.00 bill easily and instead we probably won't be back.

That being said... Props to our waiter... He offered to let us watch the game on his phone,...

This was my first time to Page, AZ. My first time to this restaurant called state 48 Tavern. I lived the atmosphere. Most of the booths out side were very inviting. Unfortunately for the fact they were so busy there were no booths available. But we did find a good size table & were able to watch the beautiful sunset 🌇. The location of this restaurant is what we call in the modwest a strip mall. Its just to the right of Red's Ace Hardware. My entre was a steak & sweet potato fries. It came with 2 sides & a salad. I chose the house salad with Strawberry 🍓 vinaigrette dressing. My other side was the seasonal veggies which happened to be Broccoli 🥦. The temperature outside was perfect. The waitress was very helpful. There was a thing or 2 we had asked for that wells not brought to the table. Which is the reason for the lower score. But otherwise we enjoyed ourselves.

This was our second time to State 48 in the past two years. We don't live in Page but were looking forward to visiting State 48 again with new friends. The service was good with no compliants. While I can't say for sure, it did seem their menu had fewer choices than it did 2 yrs ago. I had the Coconut Shrimp tacos. My wife had the special which was sirloin tips over pasta with a wine sauce. My wife really liked hers while my tacos were good but not something that really made me want to return. Our friends felt the same way. One of them had tacos with black beans. The beans had not been drained before putting in taco which made the shells soggy from the juice. Overall, it was not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but I was disappointed it was not as good as I expected. I probably will find other places to eat the next time we are in town.
