Palmerton Diner and Pizza — Restaurant in Palmerton

I hate writing bad reviews but it was such a negative experience I wanted to save others from the same. My sister and I came for dinner. She ordered a garlic bread cheesesteak from the menu. When she asked for it they acted like they had never heard of such a thing. She showed them “its right here on your menu”. They said they had to check if they had the ingredients. Went in the back and then said ok we think we can do that. When they bring it out to her it’s missing half the ingredients it said it comes with and the cheese wasn’t even melted she ate not even half of it and said she didn’t feel well after. She’s finished with her meal before mine even comes out. My veggie Stromboli was just ok. But the worst part was that “the pizza guy” had one of his younger employees come out to our table and ask if my sister and I are a couple. When we say no, he says well the guy in the back thinks one of you is cute and wants you to have his number which he leaves on the table. Never said which one of us this old man thought was cute lol but it didn’t matter as we were both so uncomfortable that I got a to go box and we left asap. Needless to say we will not be back and I do not recommend coming here. Take things off your menu if you don’t know how to make them or if you don’t have the proper ingredients. Don't waste your time here, would give 0 stars if it would allow me. I have been wanting to try this place since I moved to the area and it was the biggest disappointment ever. Stopped on Saturday around 6pm, not too busy, few people there for pick up.

They charge 5.99 for a two liter of soda which is beyond outrageous and the food is terrible! We ordered a gyro (might as well call it a lettuce wrap cause there was barely anything else), cheddar cheese fries, a quesadilla, and mozzarella fries. Took close to 30mins for the food to come out and when it did the cheddar cheese fries came out first, the cheese was STONE COLD! How do you serve cheese straight out of the fridge to customers and act like they are an inconvenience when they ask for it to be heated. Heating it took over 10 mins! Why? When the rest of the food came out it was not worth the wait or the price. They even had the nerve to charge for sour cream with the quesadilla which is to be served with it.

I get there is staffing issues and cost control on supplies but if you cannot deliver quality products and services for reasonable prices, do not...
