We often travel with a large party for out of town tournaments. When we identified Vegas as one of the destination spots, I quickly began calling local spots that would accommodate a party of 30-40 people. I received a call back and was very excited to hear they’d accommodate our party as there were quite a few places that said no. The good: The evening of the event, we were quickly seated with waters and menu’s to review. Our server, Mike was very nice and attentive. He ensured our drinks were full and the food came out correctly. Although there were a lot of asks, he did not miss a beat. The food was good and seasoned well with shareable portions. The bad: The second server assigned to our tables was not as friendly. She was cocky and gave the impression that we were a bother as patrons of the restaurant. The impression given after asking her for simple things seemed to be a burdensome. There was an issue with the check and I wanted to make sure I was not over charged. It appeared some of the food items were charged on multiple checks. She assured me I was very wrong, “and did not understand what the heck I was saying because she was confident the check was right”. Long story short, after looking at her book, I was correct I told her I don’t mind paying but I want to make sure the amount was before doing so. Again, that was a bother so she said in a very condescending manner, “Do you see this 3, it will be turned to a 2.” I responded, “ma’am you do not have to speak to me like I’m dumb.” She responded “I’m not” and walked away. I’ll take this as a learning experience to not bring our group back. It’s a shame that she ruined the whole experience with her lack of customer service. I wish we would have had Mike and a clone of Mike instead of dealing with her...
Read moreService was very good. Nice attentive wait staff. Atmosphere was amazing. Nice clean place with tons of tvs to watch. Where they faltered was the food. Pasta was bland as can be with almost no seasoning. It had some fried shrimp dumped on top. These were horrible smelly Bay shrimp out of a fryer dumped on top. For 34.99 you'd think you'd expect a little higher level. The shrimp smelled like the ocean and were inedible and shrimp are some of my favorite. I couldn't eat half my food because it was poorly cooked and seasoned. Also, our server Emily was sooooo worried about her tip that when she was doing shift change, instead of just giving us to the next server and claiming her tip the next day or God forbid she had to share it with the guy that was taking over. She was going to make absolutely sure that didn't happen. Made me get up mid dinner and fish my credit card out of my wallet while staring me down uncomfortably. I had a few cards to go thru so I asked her if she please walk away for a second instead of standing there giving me the mean stare. Then she stood there staring us down again until I signed it and completed the transaction. Then I got to go back to my now cold nasty dinner. I've never been interrupted mid bite and forced to pay. Don't worry Emily, you'll get your $11. I won't be back. The service I could look past, but the food is the worst for the highest price around. A place couldn't be more...
Read moreVisited Walk-On's Las Vegas Harrah's location with Carletta Keller and Betty Brown-Johnson on Sunday 9/10/2023. We were treated VERY rudly by the waitress "Amy" She ignored our table for about 15 minutes then when she finally came to take our order no apology, no eye contact she just had her order pad in hand and said " what can I get yall" my sister tried to soften the situation by saying "well how are you doing?" The rude waitress Amy proceeded by saying in a very rude manner & still giving no eye contact "I'm fine what can I get yall?" By this point my sister said I'm done and Amy wasn't yet done with us she then said "that's fine and walked off from our table. My entire party of 4 got up and proceeded to leave the restaurant. We spoke with the manager on duty but we're not sure what good that will do. Our experience was definitely unnecessary and not to mention a very bad look on the restaurant and Harrah's Casino Las Vegas. We don't ever plan to visit Walk ones again and don't recommend it to anyone. Our money spends very well at other establishments who appreciate ALL customers red and yellow black and white!!! SHAME ON YOU WAITRESS AMY Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux sad part we are all from New Orleans and had just watched the Saints win and Amy was dressed in saints black and gold.
