Great food, but saw dirty habits.

That was the best vindaloo I've ever had. The sad reason I'm giving such a low rating is some of the cleanliness habits I noticed during my visit.

Namely when I watched one of the younger staff drop a dinner plate face down on the heavily trafficked carpet in the walkway from the kitchen. He picked up the plate and an older man, who watched the whole thing happen, took the plate from him and put it with the other clean plates. The young man shrugged and went on. Then, seeing someone needed a plate, the older man took that dirty plate to give out, then without washing his hands also touched on the silverware which was then also contaminated. He then filled up water glasses by picking them up around the rim where most of his hand touched much the rim of the glass. He, as waitstaff, touched almost everything for the customers after that with dirty hands touching things off the floor.

I'm disappointed, because the food was amazing, but the cleanliness standards ruined it for me. If those are the standards I can't eat there.

No food test or quality consistency no customer service. I was regular customer of this restaurant but started having bad experiences with food quality and with service they provided. Recently I ordered kathiyawadi sabji and they made like paneer makhani , was totally different than what we had like week ago. First of all they ask to pick up in 25 mins. So I went after 30 mins and food was not ready than, cashier ask to wait 5 mins and I waited another 15-20 min there and restaurants was totally empt since it was Tuesday , still I got food in after an hour after placing order. When i checked at home it food was totally different so we called and they said it’s same food try to test . It was just water gravy like paneer in it. 2/9/24 Update: New ownership took over three months ago but apparently my gift card I had left over was no longer honored. Kept forgetting I had it until recently. Was going to order dinner for the family but without remorse was told they wouldn’t accept my remaining balance. I get it, new ownership, old card and not your liability, but maybe work with me a little. You did buy an established business. A shame you lost a customer over this.
