Pros: plenty of parking. Spacious inside with plenty of areas to sit. The pulled pork sandwich was good and the fries were even better. Workers were friendly.
Cons: the same pulled pork sandwich I recommend for the chef to not slice the bottom of the bread as it makes for an extremely messy sandwich and everything just falls out. $14 + tax for a not so sturdy sando and a scant amount of fries.. For the coffee, I think alot of what I didn't care for was my fault as I should have ordered things differently. If you get almond milk, it overpowers the flavor of the espresso and flavoring. It made for an odd tasting latte. Also it was SO TINY and pricey as a hot and I meant to say iced but forgot halfway thru her making it. Again my fault. For another drink that needed to be decaf I think I wasn't understanding her on why it couldn't just be a decaf iced coffee so she said an americano can be made with decaf espresso but then here's me forgetting those are made with water. It tasted awful and I went home to fix it and at least make it tolerable. Another con is they don't have any kind of food menu visible. I had to go on their IG and 1st thing I see is the pork sandwich but I wish I had more time to scroll to see they offer other stuff as well or I would have gone with that. Also there is quite a long wait to finally get your items. And Very limited dairy options.
Overall I would go back another time and have a better idea of what to order and maybe it...
Read moreReally cute place with lots of study space and a decent selection of drinks and snacks, but woah. I didn't know I was entering Club Hazel Origin...When I first arrived to study it was already a little loud but okay with headphones, but in the last hour they gradually turned it up so loud that I could no longer work as the walls were vibrating. Staff started putting up chairs all around us nearly 40 min before close, clearly wanted us to leave (it was only 3 patrons in the store including a family with a small child). Just giving patrons a friendly heads up that they are closing would have sufficed. I really hope the employer pays employees past 2pm to close up but it doesn't appear that way. Food was not bad but not good enough to justify making guests feel unwelcome well before closing and don't want to come back.
Update: Owner replied to my review at midnight claiming they have discussed it and it won't happen again. You talked to your employee at midnight? Looks like they've been getting complaints about the music for at least 11 months so I would not expect it to change but...

It’s unfortunate that I have to leave this review, as I’ve genuinely enjoyed working from here in the past. However, my most recent visit left me with a terrible impression.
First, my breakfast order was prepared incorrectly—meat was added after specifying that I wanted egg and cheese only, the coffee didn’t taste right, forcing me to adjust it myself, and i ordered a bakery item to which was never delivered to me, I had to ask for it.
But what bothered me most was the unprofessional closing process. At 12:55 PM, one of the servers abruptly closed the café and began blasting loud music, seemingly to rush customers out. Historically, this place has closed at 3 PM, and if there was a need to close early, a simple announcement would have been the respectful way to handle it—not making patrons feel unwelcome.
As a member of this community, I was excited to support this business, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the...
