*UPDATE 11-13-22 This time I had pork & mushrooms twas delicious! The egg rolls and pot stickers were great this time. Also had the chicken on a stick & crab rangoons, they were wonderful as well. Definitely our best meal here out of our 4 times going! Bumping it back up to 4 stars. :) *ORIGINAL REVIEW - Kinda pricey. I ordered takeout they had it ready in about 15 min. Staff that I had contact with were very friendly. Food was good not great (Mind you this was opening day.) Egg rolls were crisp on the outside but really mushy on the inside. (Also keep in mind I had to take these home, so the food quality goes down as it sits in a box & in a bag....) The pot-stickers filling tasted a little off to me, I think it is just recipe related. Sweet and sour pork & the beef and peppers were good. *4 stars mainly due to prices, but the food could be better as well. I WILL be back, next time I will dine IN, and adjust my review accordingly. :) **UPDATE 2-10-19 Went back and dined in, egg roll was just like the take out (crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside). Had crab Rangoon, was pretty good. Sweet and sour pork was great, beef and peppers were great, beef and broccoli was great! Had pan fried dumplings, they were tasty! Had a fried wanton, the meat tasted like pot-stickers filling, I didn't enjoy it. All the food could have been hotter. I'm leaving my rating at 4. They haven't been open a week yet, so we will be going back in a couple of weeks to see if some of the negatives change. *UPDATE 5-29-19 Went back to order take-out, ordered the "Dinner Special B". Was told it would be about 15 min, I waited 36 min before it came out. (It was 6:06 when the order was placed & 6:42 when it came out.) I got the order home and unpacked it, it was missing the egg rolls, chicken on a stick & the crab Rangoon's. That said everything we DID get tasted wonderful! Server was friendly.Taking it down to 3 stars, because of the wait time & missing food from our, on the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunate and dissapointing is how I would describe my most recent, and last, visit to Fuji. I have been a handful of times before, but this will be my last visit. I had my 3 year old daughter with me for this meal. We arrived around 4 pm and were the first people in the door for supper. The lady greeted me with a smile and turned the lights on. I ordered their sampler appetizer, kids sweet and sour chicken with French fries, and black pepper chicken with fried rice for me. A few minutes later a worker walked down the stairs from above the business and into the kitchen. It was very quiet in the building and the microwave could be heard running. In the meantime my daughter enjoyed looking at the goldfish in the aquarium. The appetizer was brought to us by our waitress and the look, texture, and taste matched the microwave sound I had heard. I tried a few bites of the different items but the results were all the same-old, microwaved food. Our main dishes were brought to us by the cook. My daughter's chicken looked like it had freezer burn and was overcooked. Her fries were cooked too hot and short as the exterior color was burnt and inside was slightly undercooked. My pepper chicken and was freshly made and fried rice was also very good. When our waitress asked if I wanted a refill on my coke I told her that I wouldn't be eating the appetizer as it was old and microwaved. She said it was cooked fresh to order. I picked up an egg roll and showed it to her. The was an awkward silence and I told her I didn't need a refill. My daughter picked at her fries, I wouldn't let her eat the chicken, and I ate a bit of my meal. As I paid for my meal she repeated again that all the food was made fresh to order. I smiled at her, said ok, paid for all the food that we barely touched, and left her a small tip. We will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe people were very nice and polite, and the food came out very quickly. My friend and I ordered hot & sour soup, the BoBo Platter (appetizer sampler), General Tsoās chicken with fried rice, and the Kung Pao Triple Delight with steamed rice. Everything came in takeout containers, and arrived at the table at the same time.
The BoBo Platter was the best part of the meal; it was hot, fresh, and came with plenty of sweet and sour sauce for dipping. I really liked the flavor of the chicken on a stick, and the egg & spring rolls were perfect. It also came with pan fried dumplings, crab Rangoon, and fried shrimp.
The hot & sour soup would have been better if it had been in a real bowl of some sort. It comes in a clear plastic takeout container, which does not keep it warm at all. I could tell that it was hot & sour soup, but there wasnāt much flavor to it and zero spice.
The Kung Pao triple delight was a disappointment. It is distinguished as spicy with red font on the menu, but there was absolutely no spice at all, and very little flavor. Had it not been for the typical Kung Pao vegetables and peanuts, I would have thought they had brought me the wrong dish. If there are different levels of spice, it was not mentioned when I ordered it, but I expected flavor at the very least.
On a side note, I usually mix the rice in with my entree on the plate. Since they come in takeout containers only, there was no room to do that. It would actually have been easier to eat if I had just gotten takeout and used a plate at home. This is just personal preference. It defeats the purpose of dining at the restaurant⦠this was the first time Iāve regretted dining in at a restaurant as opposed to ordering takeout. It was just an...
