Tacos Tesoro — Restaurant in Peoria

I tried this place because of the reviews. The 5 star reviews are fake. You can tell which ones are authentic. Menu is very basic, everything cost to add on. Food is mediocre. There were no customers on a Friday evening around 6pm. That was ny first clue. I still gave it a chance. Food is over priced for what you get. The food is very bland. I would have got more for my money at Chipotle. My meat was mostly fatty (rib eye) I could have had a decent meal at a decent restaurant for the same price. I left still hungry. Atmosphere - Boring. First tried Tacos Tesoro about a month ago right before we left on a 4 week trip. It was so delicious we were already looking at the menu as we landed back into Phoenix and immediately went there for our first meal back. The sampler is great but my favorite by far was the guisado taco (guisado also great in the bowls). The meat is so flavorful i was still thinking about it while out of town!! First time going went off of what was close by the mall and let me tell you I will never go back. Firstly it’s pricey don’t get me wrong I don’t mind paying for good food but this was not it.
