Beware!! Horrible! Rude to customers!! Very petty!!! I was visiting Philadelphia. Unfortunately, I decided to stop in the Waterfront Cafe & Deli to buy some water. As I entered I went to the restroom to wash hands first. As is my custom. Germs & food don't mix. The female Proprietor rudely confronted me. She said I have to buy something before I can use their restroom. I had to go really really bad, so l said OK, OK. When I come out in like two minutes. She stood there and waited angrily. Then said.....order! Like I'm her child....I asked to buy a bottle of water. The fridge didnt have alkaline water. I looked and looked. They didn't have any. I told them I am willing to pay $4 a bottle for it. I asked when will you get some. The guy behind the counter said never!!! Then she yelled at me again for not buying anything else since they didn't have my water. If she was nice I would've bought breakfast for two. But they do not care about hospitality. Never have I been treated so rudely in before. I was even planning on having a meetup luncheon with my Executive MBA class & colleagues here but......heck NO!!!! Poor customer service! Bigots!! No wonder their restaurant is empty. Do not go their!!!! Unnecessary harassment. Ruined my happy morning!
