- Food: 4/5 - Service: 5/5 - Atmosphere: 4/5 It's been a long journey since my last visit in 2007, and frankly, I never thought I'd step foot in here again. But, lo and behold, the transformation is undeniable. Both in terms of ambiance and staff demeanor, there's a clear shift for the better. This recent visit, primarily for a light breakfast, pleasantly surprised me. The freshness of the meal was commendable (pictures attached for reference). Kyleigh, my server, was a standout - efficient and remarkably attentive. Her gesture of making a fresh coffee just for me added a personal touch that didn't go unnoticed. Kudos to the new management - you're facing an uphill battle to reshape this establishment's reputation, but your efforts are already showing. Hats off to you for the strides you're making. Regarding the previous owners, your business model seemed to draw inspiration from the chaos depicted in Ryan Reynolds' movie "Waiting". It's a relief to see that chapter closed. Hopefully, your exit was worth the turbulent legacy you left behind.

I've been coming here since I moved to Phoenix in 2012 and it's never let me down. The food, the staff and service, the OTB, it's really great. I brought my cousin last year and he loved it. He came out again this past week and was dying for an Erin Dip sandwich so we made it, but it was late and I honestly thought it was closed. However, it was open and we were greeted and seated immediately even though there was only 2-3 other people. I figured they would of denied us because they wanted to close early since it was a slow night, but they took us in and took care of us with no problem. Thank you all for being such awesome people. I normally get the half Godfather and French onion soup, decided on a full Reuben and French onion, absolutely amazing. The Southwestern Monk Club is wicked good too!

Haven't been here in a while but usually like their food pretty well. Hamburgers were on special so I got that, came with bacon and cheese which was a nice surprise. Fries were tasty and I got a side of their homemade ranch, which was really good, to dip them in. Burger was pretty good but bun was kinda crumbly and burger a little dense and could've used more seasoning. Husband got the red pepper hummus plate and really like it, $9 seemed a tad high for that but he did like everything on it. Daughter got the chicken Alfredo and said it was just ok, sauce was bland and chicken looked great but was overcooked and kinda hard. Garlic bread that came with it had no salt or garlic, just buttered and grilled or toasted. Overall decent meal but not great.

This review below was regarding my gathering I put together at this restaurant. I did call in advance to ask if reservations were needed and I was told they were not. I made my time before your trivia started to make sure we did not come at a time that could be hectic. Not one plate of food was hot and several dishes were cancelled because they were not out after 45 minutes. Then after being cancelled the food was brought out and left, then I was billed!! Half of the food received was left because it was cold. The food was not all ordered at once, a few appetizers were ordered at first and as people came they ordered. Drinks took 30+ minutes to receive. Maybe you should limit your occupancy if you can’t handle it, this is a descent size restaurant that should be able to accommodate the seating you have available. My party was 15 people and that wasn’t all at once, people came and went. They way it was handled by the manager was unexceptionable I was asked to call the next day and your response to the review below shows how your run your business.

Been here many times over the past 15 years and had great success. Tonight a friend of ours reserved 2 outside tables for a gathering to remember her father. I was there for 2 hours and literally got 2 drinks. Half the party canceled their orders and left after waiting over an hour and still no food. Over 30 minutes after orders were canceled they still brought the orders out. We told the young food runner the orders had been canceled because they had been ordered an hour and a half earlier. He apologized and said he was just going to leave them on the table. To make things even worse the manager stuck my friend for the whole bill because the food was "delivered". None of it was eaten and it was all cold. He said to "call him tomorrow". Worst experience I've ever had at a...

While it was certainly festive the joy kinda got squashed from the start. Sure it was free to park, but the $15 per person cover more than made up for that. The music was so loud I couldn't hear myself scream as I tried to figure out what two women towing a red flyer wagon around with ice and beer bottles. Finally we discovered all beer was $7.00 each and food is served in the restaurant. After about 10min of searching for a seat in the now open seating restaurant we worked our way through the crowd to the seat. The server managed to see if we wanted anything about 10 minutes after we sat down. About 10 minutes after that our corned beef and cabbage dinners were given to us with no utensils on plastic plates. I'm ok with plastic but $15 a plastic plate of corned beef and cabbage is a bit steep. We waited patiently for our server to bring our drinks and plastic utensils while I excused myself to go to the outside ATM because everything was cash only, and I rarely carry cash. We still had no utensils when I got back to the table but we did have our beer and bill. I went through the restaurant and found a server that gave me utensils. I spotted mustard several tables over and grabbed it knowing our waitress wouldn't be around any time soon to bring it to us. We managed to eat before the last bit of warmth seeped out of the food that had been sitting untouched for at least 20 minutes. I paid the bill bought two more beers and we then left to go home. This might be ok for the 20something crowd, but did not appeal to me hoping for a bit of St. Patrick's Day fun with a traditional meal from a traditional server on normal flatware. I may try it again but it will be a long while...

I would give 0 stars if I could. Had the worst experience at Padre Murphy's today. Was there for 4 hours to bet on the dogs. After 45 minutes, Heather, the waitress, took our drink order. Took her another 15-20 minutes to take our food order. Food came in a reasonable time and it wasn't bad (brought by someone else). Although prices have gone up. We were never offered a 2nd drink. Called the manager over and expressed our concern. He asked me what I was drinking but not my friend. Thought he was going to make it right. Never saw him again. No drink. My friend went to bar where she received green beer supposedly from St. Patrick"s Day. Really? From 2 weeks ago? Waitress never came back to offer us a 2nd drink. She would glance at us as she walked by but didn't stop to see if we wanted anything else. I finally said as she walked by "she has not even asked us once if we want another drink" loud enough for her to hear. She turned and said "I have 30 tables to wait on" which she had already told us previously. I did yell back at her because I had had enough of her poor customer service. I understand them being short-staffed, but, seriously if someone tells you there is an issue try to do something about it. She didn't. She seemed to find the time to get drinks for all of the men around us. So I guess waiting on women are not high on her list. I am a good tipper so her loss. The manager should be ashamed of himself for not making this right and for not having enough people working. Supposedly a new system but not our fault. We have been fairly regular patrons at this place over the years....
