Taco Bell Cantina — Restaurant in Phoenix

This place has gone hill rapidly! Used to go here 1-2 times a week for lunch and food was hot and ready to go when i would show up to pick up my mobile order. Lately there's only1-2 people working in the whole place, i place my app order well in advance, at least 30 minutes before i arrive to pick it up, and i still end up waiting 20 minutes for food. There are homeless people in there using the soda fountain water to wash their hands or trying to get people to buy them food. The staff is so terrible and does nothing about this. They ignore you when you arrive, my food was sitting on the back counter for 10 minutes before i could get anyone to acknowledge me for pick up. This has happened almost every time ive gone in the last 2-3 months. Last week i went and the lady was not making my order because she said they were out of Chalupa shells but did not tell me this any of the 3 times i asked her an ETA for my food while waiting almost 30 minutes for my order. She just kept telling me it will be ready soon. Finally, i told her just to make me a different item os i could go because she was ignoring my order because they were out of shells but offered me no warning of this or solutions. I really want to love this Taco Bell cantina, but I have been twice after night events downtown and did not receive my food. Both times it was clear things were very mismanaged and the team was simply overwhelmed by the sheer volume of people ordering in person, on the kiosks, and mobile pickup. It was a comical scene of hungry people waiting for their food, while workers kept calling out name and food combinations that did not match anyone’s order. We got a refund after an hour of not receiving our food and being told it was no longer in their food queue. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is my favorite Taco bell in the country, and trust me, I'm a Taco Bell conisour...I've been to many Taco Bells, and this one takes the cake... or takes the taco. They have my order right every time accept for one time. ( My grilled cheesy bean and rice was burnt, but they replaced it with no hassle.) They know me by name and treat me like family. They even call my name when when my order is ready. I don't drink ( I'm in recovery), but they have an awesome selection of alcoholic beverages. Don't worry, Baja blast gets me there!
