Ordered today from UberEats. What a nightmare! The driver was great. The poor guy ended up with soda all over his car because the people from this location put a soft drink in a bag with entrees instead of a cup holder and he was unaware. Talk about being careless! It’s spilled all over my other items and his vehicle.

The problem started when over an hour had passed since I had placed my order and the status in UberEats showed that Patron was still “wrapping up”. I don’t expect them to be so quick all the time, but my order is usually ready in less than 20 minutes.

When I called the restaurant about my order someone answered and said “uh huh, uh huh, no, no,” and the call disconnected.

When I called back about my order she was still not listening and called me Samantha. With continued struggle and confusion, I requested to speak to someone else who also wasn’t listening and who also called me Samantha and told me that I had only put my order in 15 minutes before. I had to listen to him call me Samantha and tell me about “my order” until I could get a word in to tell them who I was and that my order was indeed placed an hour before.

Terrible experience overall. Absolutely love the food at Patron and very disappointed. Customer service at this location has not been great. I must be too accustomed to the stellar customer service I’ve experienced at the Wexford location, where they gave me a free chimichanga because I simply informed them their phone was off the hook. It wasn’t a complaint. I just wanted to let them no so that they wouldn’t miss orders. I still came in to order with the phone being off the hook because they are that quick and I knew they’d have it ready in five minutes.

The Highland Park location...

Pretty decent food. It's not the best quality or the most authentic, but it is cheap and does the job. They are a local chain from what I know. Most of the classic American-Mexican foods are served here, such as burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and so on. I tried the cheese quesadilla and the churros.

The quesadilla was very average. It was on the larger side though, and quite a good deal for just $9. However, it was not very flavorful. I do like that they followed my instructions for providing the lettuce and tomatoes separately to reduce sogginess. The quesadilla itself was still not that crispy. The cheese had a very strange flavor. It almost seemed a bit spoiled. Other sections had no cheese at all. I'd recommend probably not getting this.

However, the churros were very delicious! I thought they were expensive at first, but when I saw the portion, I realized it was a fair price. They give you 4 churros. They are delicious, coated in a perfect amount of sugar and a nice caramel center. Hershey chocolate syrup on top as well, although I'm not a fan of it. And, they even served it with some vanilla ice cream, which was quite tasty and creamy.

This is another one of the Mexican places that serves chips along with their meals. It's solid quality and complimentary so can't complain. The chips came in a nice sized bag and the salsa was okay, although watery.

All in all, not bad. It's not authentic or incredible by any means, but a good stop for a cheap Mexican meal. It is definitely better than many Mexican chains. Would definitely recommend the churros, but the quesadilla?...

I placed an online order through their website on October 13th for pickup around 12:30 PM. I got there at 12:00, and the restaurant was completely empty. No staff, no one answering the door, and no one picking up the phone. I called at least seven times and waited over 30 minutes with no answer. The restaurant was marked as open, and the website let me place and pay for my order, but I never got my food or even got in touch with anyone to try to get a refund. I even called another Patron location in Wexford to see if they could help, but the person who answered hung up on me. When I called back, nobody picked up. I went back today, October 14th, hoping to talk to someone in person or at least get a phone call returned, but once again the place was empty and no one answered. At this point, I’m extremely disappointed and angry. I never got my food, never got a refund, and couldn’t reach anyone to fix it. I would not recommend this restaurant or any of their locations to anyone. Terrible experience from...

This was my 2nd time at a Patron. The 1st was in Monroeville and I got my food to go but the food was great. My 2nd time was not as good. This time we ate in and the wait for our food was a bit long and they weren't very crowded. When the food came my wife ordered a Taco Salad and a Empanada I think but she only got her salad. Her salad was full of onions but she said it was good. I got 4 burritos because they were so good the last time. I was telling my wife how they were full of meat and flavorful. Maybe this location does things differently because my burritos, like my wife's salad, was loaded with peppers and onions and not much meat or at least not like I had before. I wont complain about the service. Not much interaction except for the waiter telling us our food should be coming out soon after we had been waiting awhile. I don't Not recommend going here but I think I'll pass on them for a bit. Maybe it was just the cook, the day or the location.

This place is the absolute BEST. I was planning a friend's bachelorette party, and had been calling all over Pittsburgh for a restaurant to accommodate our group of 15 when we finally came across this gem. So many places had restrictions (minimum spend, have to be out by this time, etc. - understandable, but really not convenient) - Patron just said 'no problem' and held a table for us. We got there, the table was set up and the venue beautiful, everyone had water and chips & salsa waiting. Our waiter, Maria, was super attentive and helpful and didn't even mind splitting checks (this is a huge plus for a large group). I can't thank them enough for allowing us to celebrate here and for making the event just so much easier. The margs were cheap and strong and the food amazing. I would eat here again in a heartbeat and have another event here. Gracias Patron!
