Love love loved the pan-fried yellow croaker. It wasn't oily at all, instead it was light, flavorful, and perfectly crispy!
This was my first time trying sundubu (soft tofu stew) but I took suggestions and got the beef variety with a little bit of spice. I was so pleased at the textures and consistency of the stew -- the soft tofu and beef were perfect additions to the thin, light broth. I found a little ray of sunshine that I didn't expect in the form of an egg yolk that was fun to pop and perfect for the stew! The spice level that I asked for was excellent; I could enjoy all the flavors without being overwhelmed by raw heat.
I fell in love with the fishcake banchan (Eomuk/Odeng) bc OMG it's that good. Where have you been all my life??
