I have eaten here numerous times and I have loved this place numerous times however, yesterday I was left extremely disappointed. We arrived around 720 and were told there would be a 20-25 minute wait, we waited until 0815 to be seated, this was only a problem with us because there were so many open tables inside and outside. Every time I have left here barely able to wait to recommend bonefish to all of my colleagues. I will be telling them that they should never go Friday nights. I had the French onion soup, bacon and cheese smothered fries appetizer and the deep sea crack mac. With chicken and sirloin instead of the seafood. My wife had the stuffed shrimp. The French onion soup was not bad, but nothing above average. The bacon cheese fries were actually really good and I was surprised by the amount that you received. Unfortunately it was not layered, so after you finish the top layer you essentially have an order of fries leftover with nothing special. The deep sea crack mac. Now I was especially let down by this because I typically get a side of m their Mac and cheese every time I visit here and its always to die for. So last time I told myself I would get it this time as my entrée and it was bland and not nearly as cheesy as usual. I don't think its the entreea fault either my wife's side of macaroni was also bland and not as creamy as usual. It wasn't bad though it had potential if the macaroni was how it normally is supposed to be. The little bit of meat on the macaroni was the only thing at our table tonight that was 10/10 I would have eaten pounds of that. At least it looked pretty. My wife's stuffed shrimp was less flavorful than it has been on previous trips and she actually didn't want to finish it. Unfortunately the date night was a no go, I'll stick to dining in here during the week.

My friend in Port St Lucie had been looking for reliable and good sea food restaurant, recently, had heard about Bonefish Mac's and wanted to give it a try. There was quite the line when we arrived, but even so came to about a twenty minute wait. The establishment has considerable outdoor seating, and we ended up at a high-top table next to a pond with a waterfall - a wonderful water feature. Bonefish Mac's menu is a very dense six pages, but the only ones that mattered were the appetizers and the fresh fish available. I settled on their conch chowder, and a preparation of the catch of the day - mahi mahi. The chowder cam out nice and hot, a tomato based broth loaded with conch, diced tomato, onion and more, very flavorful with a good peppery bite. The mahi I had grilled with a cajun cream sauce, and on the side sauteed mix vegetables, and tender asparagus stalks in a bechamel sauce. The mahi was tender and moist with a wonderful grille flavor, and the sweet spiciness of the cajun cream complimented it very well indeed. The asparagus was tender, properly cleaned and cooked, with the bechamel a solid note on top. The sauteed veggies were likewise nicely done, and also worked well with the ample dish of cajun cream I was given. Our server Lisa was attentive and kept us well supplied with drinks. The food was slightly slow coming out, but that was due to a combination of our being on the far outer edge of their service area, along with the very busy hour.

Bonefish Mac’s Sports Grille in Port Saint Lucie hands down is my favorite go-to place when I am in town visiting friends and families. This location has spectacular outdoor dining with several waterfalls and lush tropical landscaping. I love all the Fishing-themed Décor and especially their slogan… “Where you’re eating with Friends”. The menu is where the fish theme really shines. They offer a variety of fresh seafood dishes, which you do not always expect from a sports bar. The bacon wrapped scallops are delish. If you love Shrimp as much as I do you are in heaven… they have Buffalo Shrimp, Coconut Shrimp, Mojo Shrimp, Stuffed Shrimp, Shrimp- N-Chips and Shrimp Scampi. There are also more traditional bar bites like wings and burgers for those looking for classic sports bar fare, but the seafood options are the highlight. This is a kid friendly restaurant that has a game room for the kids, along with a nice kid’s menu. Best of all Kids eat Free all Day on Tuesday!! The bar itself offered a wide selection of drinks, including some excellent tropical-themed cocktails to complement the fishy vibe. I tried their signature "Pomegranate Breeze and Rio Grande Margarita," and both are tasty and excellent. Despite the fishy theme, the place had all the high-energy excitement of a typical sports bar. Whether you are cheering for your team or just enjoying the seaside feel, the combination works perfectly.

ATTENTION CUSTOMERS…DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT EVER COME TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!

Reasons why I say this: I came to this establishment with my family for my wife’s birthday and when we went up to ask for a table they “took” our number down and said that it would be only 15-20 minutes to wait..okay cool so we decided to go outside and wait…15 minutes go by no response from my phone so I gave it another 5 minutes then I decided to go inside. So I walk inside to the front desk to see if our table was ready and they had a bamboozled look on their face as if they had no idea who I was. So I asked them if any name that was in my party was on the list and they responded “No we don’t have anyone by that name on our list”. So then I asked if there were any tables available since we were sitting and waiting outside for so long. And they said well you can have this upcoming table. So I agreed and gathered my family and we went inside. And when we went inside..mind you my wife and I have our 6 week old daughter in her stroller so you would think that they would have common sense and make sure we’re in a spacious area…WRONG! They sit us all the way against the wall right next to this huge party of people. The chairs to our table was sooo close to other party of people that the chairs were touching and I had to literally move my chair over on the other side of the table just so I didn’t feel claustrophobic. The party of people were extremely obnoxious…their kids were constantly up and down near our baby’s stroller. They kept going in and out of the door letting cool wind inside. And just being very loud and rude. There bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. My wife and I had to change our daughter’s diaper and the bathroom was super warm inside and the changing table looked like it hadn’t been sanitized and cleaned in months. The food was literally a disgrace and the chef of this restaurant should be ashamed and need to go back to culinary school IMMEDIATELY!!! I ordered crab cakes because I’ve never had them before and I wanted to try it. The crab cakes were rancid, oily and have a bad terrible seafoody taste…now I know you’re probably thinking you’re eating seafood of course it would but the crabcakes literally tasted like day old, freezer burnt, purchased from a scam artist that was selling seafood in the back of their vehicle. It was the absolute worst! The management!!!!! This place has the WORST management ever. My wife complained to the manager for me about the crabcakes because I couldn’t finish them and it was almost a $30 meal so we wanted to have it taken off of our ticket. And did the manager have an understanding presence about himself…NOPE! He literally had a disgusted look alongside with his attitude as if we were asking him for too much and his exact words were “I saw the crabcakes, they taste delicious if you don’t like them…shrugs well that’s on you. You don’t get to not pay for it”. And to that I feel like that’s not okay. That’s not proper customer service….

So I say this to say my family and I will NEVER come here ever again and I will tell everyone that I come in contact with to...

My fiancée and I dined at Bonefish Macs on September 1, 2025, and were disappointed with both the food and service. I ordered the prime rib (medium rare) with a baked potato, and my fiancée ordered a meal with fries. When our meals arrived, my prime rib was medium well and cold, while her fries were also cold. I alerted our server, who seemed unaware of the issue and stated he didn’t deliver the dish. I then spoke with the manager, who explained that they had run out of medium-rare prime rib earlier and suggested I should have arrived before 6 p.m., and that I should expect them to run out on nights when they have the special. He noted that the meat had to “rest,” to explain why it was cold, He did offer to replace it but I declined the offer as I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for it to arrive. While I appreciated the gesture, it didn’t address the core issue: why wasn’t I informed of the unavailability of medium-rare prime rib before the incorrect order was served? My fiancée’s fries were replaced and arrived hot, which was a small improvement. The lack of communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff was evident, as was a general sense of disorganization. I noticed my plate was left in front of me despite my complaints, and I chose not to eat it. Reading other reviews, I saw similar complaints about incorrect orders, with one customer charged after eating a dish they didn’t want and was offered a refund. Then they declined to comp that customers meal. This raises concerns about whether the restaurant expects customers to accept subpar meals to avoid comping them. Having dined here frequently, I’ve noticed a recent decline in quality and care, which is disheartening. With Maggie McFly’s set to replace this location in February, I hope the new management prioritizes better communication and customer service. We won’t...
