We stopped for the Sunday brunch buffet. It's never quite fair to rate a restaurant on their buffet when their specialty is breakfast and lunch so... here goes. The bread pudding was amazing! I would stop back for that alone. There were smoked sausages that were quite good. The biscuits and gravy weren't up to the southern standards that I've come to expect. Kinda bland. Bacon was typical buffet bacon and the eggs were fairly institutional. I liked the fried tots.
Service was friendly and prompt. The folks there weren't particularly interested in wearing any sort of Covid ppe so we felt a little out of place when we walked in. But that's their prerogative and if it bothered us too much, we didn't have to stay.
I'd go back and try again, but I'd rather order from the menu and base my rating on that instead of the buffet..

The server was so fast on the check, when we were getting food, that I never had a chance to ask for a separate check. Since it was done, we dealt with it. I almost asked about the fish since it still bothers me, but it was just not the time. I will go back. I do recommend it, but if we go for fish, I will ask. I try to eat without fried foods and yet, if I get less pieces and weight and only tails, I would not ...
Read moreMy wife and I have done a fall leaf drive every year since 1973. We've noticed this diner on the roadside for many years but it has always been closed when we went by. This year our timing was great and they were open! We stopped and are so glad we did. Diners are a dying breed, just like supper clubs. My wife had a breakfast sandwich, while I had a traditional breakfast - eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast. Everything about it (food, service, price) was excellent! Most places don't get hash browns right - crunchy on the outside and fully cooked on the inside. These were perfect. Going forward we will plan our trips so we can stop at this place every...
