Pasta Pronto — Restaurant in Redding

I had high hopes for this place, although we didn't have to wait long, and the employees were decent , I ordered the alfredo pasta to go and unfortunatley it was bland, and the garlic bread it came with was soggy, i came home only to find myself adding seasoning to my pasta. The noodles were swimming in watered down sauce, very disappointed. I love alfredo pasta but if this was my first time having this meal, I would have thought twice about ever having this again. Also I got a salad and the lady brought it out on a plate, it looked like a nice amount, but when we reminded her it was to go she put it in the tiniest to go box which left me with honestly probly less than half of what she originally was gonna give me. I was shorted my salad. What was shown to me was that little effort was placed into making this food, it was lazy. Honestly I really would take these reviews and apply and learn from them and any and all customer that has entered your place. If your gonna continue to make bland food and "stretch" things out such as watering your sauces and leaving a pool at the bottom of the pan then your in for a closed sighn. If your business and minset is only about money then you don't have a place in business and that's really a shame because all that effort that you have put into this place will be for nothing. Think about the customers and your employees, if you need to get a new crew, than do it, this is your business and life give it the love and respect that you gave it when you first opened up. The service was spot on. Our water was never low and our Waiter had a great personality. (I had a date with my husband, which doesn't get to happen very often)

I had the Seafood Alfredo dish. Medium size shrimp (not the small ones), small scallops ,mushrooms and I think langostino, in a mushroom and creamy white wine sauce. The pasta was cooked to perfection and excellent texture. The sauce was deliciousflavorful without being heavy. It really let the flavors of the seafood come through. No table seasonings were needed. The bread was nice and garlicy too😁. There was too much to eat in one meal. We both had to bring half our meal home. The Waiter teased us about our fancy to go dishes...we brought our own plastic containers to reduce the waste.

My husband really enjoyed his Artichoke Chicken Pasta. Big slices of grilled chicken and artichoke hearts. The 1/2 size Caesar Salads were big too. I think it's Johnny's Caesar dressing.. but I haven't asked.😉 I forgot to take photos....

My two sons and I ate at Pasta Pronto (2151 Market Street) in early June 2022 as we passed through Redding on our way back to northwest Oregon.

We were confused on arrival and drove past the restaurant twice. The building is decorated like a Mexican restaurant rather than Italian.

We were greeted with a smile by Daniella, who seated us promptly and gave us plenty of time to look at the menu and ask questions about the different items. Throughout our evening, Danny carefully watched for anything we might have need of, from straws, more drink, or another napkin. She was fantastic and we wish her best for whatever her future holds.

The food was served quickly and hot. It was flavorful and the portions perfect for three guys aged 23 to 55 after a long day driving. We ate everything and then ordered a delightful chocolate dessert. We were so impressed with this chain restaurant that we've found one close to home to...
